I chose this trainer because I was looking for a more personal, one on one experience than I thought I'd get with a larger training company. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. The biggest issue throughout the program was communication. What was supposed to be about a six week program stretched well into July because of multiple cancellations and reschedules. I understand that unexpected things happen, but after several delays it felt like there was very little proactive communication or effort to keep the program moving forward. The board and train was the biggest disappointment. The training portion was a significant additional cost over boarding alone, yet I received very little communication about what my dog was working on or how progress was being made. Because of that, I honestly have no idea what I received for the additional cost or what value the training portion added beyond boarding. Even after all of that, I planned to finish the remaining sessions because they had already been paid for. After another last minute cancellation and reschedule, I decided to walk away rather than continue. That meant forfeiting sessions I had already paid for, but by that point I had lost confidence in the experience and no longer felt it was worth continuing. I understand that every business can have scheduling issues from time to time, but consistent communication and follow through are essential, especially when people are trusting you with their dogs and investing a significant amount of money. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can't recommend this trainer.
