Complete K-9

We came to Complete K9 with a dog that lacked confidence which meant lunging and barking in public, as well as leash pulling. We opted for the mastery classes and worked with Michael start to finish. This experience was nothing short of amazing. Michael was so good with our girl (Salem) but also with us - teaching us how to effectively communicate with her opened our eyes to what she's capable of. I can tell he truly cares for the animals he works with and enjoys his job. I appreciated that they worked with us on our specific goals each week and provided us with the tools necessary to continue the obedience at home. We received updates throughout the day (pictures and video) to show us what they were working on, and having that to be able to refer back to at home while we worked with her, was priceless. The Social Club outings that continue after training are also so valuable, providing an opportunity to continue solidifying what was learned during training and keeping Salem socialized. Thank you, Complete K9, and especially Michael, for a very rewarding experience! We see such a positive difference in Salem!

Such an amazing experience with Lola’s training! From the very beginning, the staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. They did an incredible job working with Lola, but what impressed me just as much was how much time they spent teaching me how to properly handle her, communicate with her, and continue reinforcing everything she learned at home. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they work with and want both the dog and owner to succeed. I’ve learned so much throughout the process and have seen a huge difference in Lola. I feel much more confident handling her and continuing her training moving forward. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable, caring, and effective dog trainers. If you are unsure of where to get your dog the training they need, Complete K9 is the place. We have 2 German Shepherd’s (1.5 & 3 year old) that are full of energy. They used to be leash reactive/aggressive towards other dogs & sometimes people. They would drag us down the street, lunge, bark, & whine loudly if we separated them. They would corner our cat & chase her around the house. It was constant chaos! We originally took our dogs about a year ago to a 2 week board & train & were told they could only get the basics taught during that time, however, our dogs were still out of control. With a baby on the way, we knew we had to do something. We were hesitant at first with the price point, but knew we needed help & I can’t describe to you the difference our life is with the training both we & our dog’s received! I can walk down the street with my baby in a stroller, stress-free! I don’t have to worry about my dogs pulling on the leash or knocking me or the stroller over to get to another dog. They barely notice when we pass other dogs or people! Coretta & James were quick to offer us help with dog boarding when our baby was born. We were gone at the hospital & had a place to board our dogs within an hour. While boarding, they follow the same training cues we’ve been working on so we don’t have to worry about them getting away with incorrect leash manners, barking excessively, etc. The huge selling point for us is the ability to have access to our trainers, Coretta & Caitlin & Michael, with any future questions through WhatsApp. With a baby that’s growing & will start moving around, we have peace knowing we can ask for help on any situations that may arise. Or just check-in on reminders of how to handle different situations. Plus, we’re excited to start joining the alumni group adventures to help our dogs continue with their training. We are forever grateful to Complete K9!
