We were shocked when we picked up our pup cane Corso after his first day of training. We could not believe how effective the training was after a few hours. Each week our pup continued to learn and by the end of the course we were confident that we would be able to apply all of the techniques that he learned to his daily life. We also attended the weekend course and that was also helpful in his training. I hesitated to sign my pup for the class because the person that referred me , spoke about how good the course was that it was hard to believe but after Mike explained the process to me I thought I had nothing to lose. Boy was Mike correct. I have no retreats. The trainer was great. She was able to explain my homework to me in detail. She was very professional and my pup warmed up to her quickly which helped me to relax when I dropped him off. In summary, thank you, thank you, thank you,

After a full month has passed since we completed the Day Training Program, I feel I can write a genuine review. Choosing Confident Canines Academy was one of the best decisions I could have made for Odie and for myself. From the very beginning, I felt like Odie wasn’t just another dog in a training program—they genuinely took the time to understand who he is, his personality, and the challenges we were facing together. One of the biggest improvements I’ve seen is how much more manageable outings have become. Odie still has moments where his anxiety and reactivity get the best of him, and I know training is an ongoing journey rather than a quick fix. The difference now is that I understand how to recognize those moments and have the tools to help guide him through them. Whether we’re in stores, at restaurants, or enjoying the beach, I feel much more confident handling situations because of everything I’ve learned through Confident Canines Academy. And knowing they offer lifetime support gives me peace of mind, because I know I can always reach out for guidance as Odie continues to grow and make progress. Camila and Mark were the trainers who worked with Odie, and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did. They always took the time after each class to explain exactly what they had worked on, why they were teaching those skills, and how I could continue practicing them at home and in everyday situations. Those conversations were invaluable because they made me feel involved in Odie’s progress and gave me the confidence to continue reinforcing his training outside of class. Confident Canines Academy didn’t just teach Odie new behaviors—they taught me how to better understand him, communicate with him, and help him succeed. The bond we have today is stronger because of everything we learned together. When I brought my rescued dog ‘snow’ in for the four-week boarding and training program, I wasn’t sure what to expect. snow had some aggression issues—reactivity toward other dogs and unpredictable behavior around people. I was hopeful but honestly nervous about leaving her in someone else's hands. I scheduled and met Mike and he explained the program and the best option under the circumstances of great pyrenees mix to adjust and build confident instead of being nervous and anxious. From day one, the professional expertise of the staff (Camille and Mark) was evident. They listened carefully to my concerns, asked detailed questions about snow’s background and triggers, and explained their training approach in a way that made sense. It was clear they had extensive experience working with rescued dogs with behavioral challenges. The trainers were absolutely committed to snow's progress; and provide honest assessment of the progress . We could see the work they were doing and how snow was responding. The results have been remarkable. my dog is noticeably calmer on walks, and her response to triggers is dramatically improved. While we know this is an ongoing process, the foundation they've built in these four weeks has made a real difference in her life and our ability to care for snow. However, my dog lost some pounds during those weeks but kept monitoring her and after the training she’s gaining it back day by day. What really impressed me was the staff's professionalism, patience, and genuine care. They treated my dog like she was their own, and that commitment showed in the results.
