Eileen is an exceptional dog behaviorist, and I feel so fortunate to be working with her. Her depth of knowledge and experience really shows. After just one session, her training tips and techniques led to noticeable improvements with my dog. What impressed me most is how collaborative she is; Eileen works closely with veterinarians and even suggested discussing the option of medication with mine. My vet agreed, and that extra support has made a huge difference. It’s clear that Eileen truly loves dogs and understands how to bring out the best in them. I sought out Eileen based on her credentialing with the IAABC and working with her was a great experience. Her techniques are based in positive reinforcement and not fear and punishment. She’s also super kind and understanding towards you as the human in the training process. We were going through a lot on a personal level at the same time we started working with her for our dog whose issues with separation anxiety and resource guarding worsened a lot once he hit adolescence. She takes time to learn about your circumstances and history with your pet. I’ve always owned dogs and thought I had a pretty good understanding of dogs and dog behavior compared to a lot of people, but I learned so much from her. She was never pushy or condescending, as has been my experience with other times I’ve done dog training in the past. I would definitely recommend her because she is empathetic and effective and has a great understanding of dog behavior.

I’ve been working with Eileen since January and it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Out of what seemed like nowhere my puppy of 8 months started attacking my other dogs. I got bit breaking up fights and my two other dogs were starting to get scared of the puppy. People around me said shock collars and Stern punishment was the only way to fix the behavior and I’m so glad I didn’t listen to that. Eileen is amazing to work with, most of my training is done over zoom. She’s extremely detail oriented and truly understands bizarre behaviors of dogs. She’s provided training skills I can practice at home, training to help Reinforce positive behavior and make my other dogs comfortable.
