I do NOT recommend purchasing a puppy which was bred at ConIfer Canine, and do NOT recommend enrolling in their online dog training instructor course. DOG: I purchased a working dog from Conifer's breeding program and the dog was found to have a congenital and progressively debilitating condition that was existent since birth. Tim marketed to me as being an 'expert' and having a passion to improve the German Shepherd Dog breed. Due to this is I felt comfortable that the purchased dog would be of good health. However, due to the poor breeding practice, my dog is not capable of safely performing her job due to defective genetics which is breeder controlled. As an "expert" in the field, I believe Tim should have known this health defect exists in his breeding dogs or if not, once known he should not be breeding defective lineages. Wasabi and Thiago are the parents and Regal is the sister of my dog. ONLINE SCHOOL: It was not disclosed that the online dog training courses will require two individuals in order to complete the online masters program. The surprise requirement makes it impossible for full-time working professionals to learn the necessary skills to train their own dogs. Upon informing Conifer Canine that they should disclose this, so potential students can accurately assess the feasibility of enrolling in his course, they failed to update their website. It has been several months.

I've researched for 3 years in what school is the best for dog trainers and every time the results came up with conifer canine dog trainer college in the top ranks. You can choose from online classes to in person and there are a multitude of courses to take so why pick one? I know I couldn't, help myself so I chose to enroll in the master class, it's a science based in depth course that covers A-Z, no stone left unturned or sniffed. Tim, Melody and Moriah are well educated and top tier trainers that help us daily in the class room and on the training fields with their years of experience and expertise they are on site guiding you to success. If you want quality come to conifer canine, you won't regret it! There are multiple training fields to use while gaining knowledge of agility, bite, trailing and other aspects of the canine world. Don't forget you can bring up to 2 dogs with you to train and while you're in class there is a kennel on site to house them. We get a 1 hour lunch so you will have time to go into Spencer for a quick lunch and still have time to play with fido. There are 2 different semesters for the master class so pick one that best fits your temperature comfortability or better yet your canines, if you have a dog with a thick heavy coat, you may want to consider the fall program. It'll be the best investment you will make, in yourself.

Not impressed with the content of your site. You substitute factual information with nonsense at times. German Shepherd are smart dogs but they are not smarter than their owner unless their owner is a 5th grader. Maybe reword that entire page and leave out the personal feelings and stick to the facts. My dogs knows almost 40 special commands and many of them have both a verbal and hand command. He is an American G.S. and he could write this article better than that.
