FirstBarkSara and the connected canine team are the best in the Valley. Great place to board your four legged family members. My dogs never want to leave when I come back to pick them up. I especially like that they have people on staff with vet tech skills so my senior dog is well taken care of.

I think there are far better options out there that are positive only and don’t rely on such tools to get dogs to listen. My best friends dog came back after a board and train and has been terrified since. He has been peeing in the house and anytime she puts the ecollar on him he runs away scared. Not sure what happened behind closed doors but I can only assume the worst.

I’ve never felt truly comfortable leaving my pup with anyone until I found Connected Canine! My 60lb baby, Freddy, is a handful and a bit of a nervous boy, so finding Sara and her team has been an absolute game-changer for us. From Doggy Daycare to boarding, Freddy has not only been well cared for but has also started coming out of his shell. Seeing his confidence grow has been amazing! I can’t recommend Connected Canine enough for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving place for their pup. ** UPDATE** We recently completed a board and train program at Connected Canine, and the results have been incredible. Our dog Freddy has gone from anxious to confident and well-behaved, which has greatly improved our family dynamic. Thanks to the training, we now feel confident taking him on outings like the farmers market and pet-friendly stores, and we feel well-equipped to support him moving forward. After reading some of the other reviews, I also wanted to add some context about our experience with the e-collar. It was recommended because of Freddy's specific needs and was never presented as a replacement for training. Sara and her team emphasized from the very beginning that continued training and consistency from both the owner and the dog are what lead to long-term success. The e-collar has simply become the clearest communication tool we've used with Freddy. Our Dogtra collar has 127 stimulation levels, and the highest we've ever needed is 17, which we use very rarely. Most of the time, Freddy responds to verbal commands because he understands what's being asked of him. The training gave us the tools and confidence to communicate with him more effectively, and we've continued practicing those skills at home. For our family, it has been one of the most valuable investments we've made in Freddy's well-being.

How she does it I truly don’t know but I do know that anytime I have to board big Arch for travel he is in great hands. Thank you all for all you do and your attention to detail and knowing how he is and what works best for him, that alone is priceless and much appreciated!

Sara and her team have been amazing trainers for our family! We needed help when we rescued a 2yr old GSP and they provided top notch support. We were dealing with confidence issues and Sara’s team recommended a 2 week sleep away camp at her house which worked wonders. It gave us a good foundation which we were able to build on when she returned home. The homework they gave us worked very well and they also came out to our house for some touch up training when we got stuck. Sara and team did such a great job with our GSP, we hired them again to help us train our brand new Bernedoodle puppy. We’ve had a number of puppies in the past and used various trainers but Sara’s team tops them all with their attention to detail, service, and results. I cannot recommend them enough!
