We got a puppy in November and I wanted to start training him right away. So I called Brent. He is busy but if you leave a voicemail he always calls back. He clearly told me that the training will stick only after the puppy is 4 months. About the time when are puppy was ready to start walking outside, he started barking at other dogs. This got me worried so I called him again. He reassured me that this is normal puppy behavior. We also booked a personal session with him. Best thing we ever did! My puppy used to randomly get all rowdy with me. He taught me how to address that. Walking with him turned from a constant tugging match to so much fun! We immediately signed up for his obedience lessons! Brent and his team of trainers make the obedience classes so much fun that I look forward to it every week. We have done only 3 sessions but we have accomplished so much with my puppy who is not even 6 months old. He walks in heel position, does not bark at other dogs during walks, stays when told. It’s still a work in progress but he has improved so much! During the sessions, the team walks around helping people deal with difficult dogs and the improvement from week to week is noticeable. Brent is very encouraging, always telling us that we are doing a great job, always answering questions patiently. I am so happy we found this facility. I am excited to see what my puppy will be able to achieve in this journey with Cooperhaus!

We adopted a golden retriever who hadn’t been socialized properly so was a hot mess: he would pull on leash, was dog reactive, and was scared of everything. After working with Brent and the Cooperhaus team we have an amazingly well-behaved dog who we can take anywhere! Brent knows dogs very well and with his structured training, helps us learn how to effectively train our dog and anticipate and deal with situations. He’s great with people too—he’s patient, encouraging, and approachable. He’s always willing to answer questions and fosters a sense of community and belonging. When we got the right tools we gained confidence and that uncovered the sweetest, most loving and well-behaved dog. And he loves going to dog training! Anyone with any dog at any stage in their ownership or the dog’s life will benefit from working with Brent.
