We've been doing intro obedience with our 6-month old puppy here for the past 3 weeks and we couldn't be happier with the progress. My partner and I are both students and were originally looking for group classes to save money. I was originally very nervous about spending so much on obedience when we first priced private classes with Brent but I cannot stress enough how worth it it has been. We have a fearful small-medium rescue who wasn't responding well to our original training methods and Brent listened to what we'd tried and failed with and suggested the best ways to overcome those things with our puppy in mind. This and other experiences have shown how Brent has a gift for working with not just the dog but the owners to build out ambitious but attainable at-home plans for reciting and expanding on what's covered during the lesson. I could go on and on but suffice it to say: give Brent a call and explain your situation and you'll quickly appreciate his experience and skill with navigating training with dogs and owners. I would, have, and will continue to recommend Brent to anyone who will listen.

My first dog was trained at their Milpitas location. When I first got her, she was very shy. My second dog was more aggressive and nippy and I brought him to their San Jose location as well. Both dogs were stubborn and after attending classes at Cooperhaus, I can confidently take them out in public and know they will behave. I love the instructors at both schools. They are very knowledgeable and were great at training the dogs, but also training me to train them. Thank you!

I have been a customer at Cooperhaus since 1983. Brent and his dad Calvin are very honest, they provide the highest level training service, to the owner and dog customer. I purchased three dogs from Cooperhaus, and I have one now who is an amazing family dog, The perfect dog ! He did not have much training...he just comes from great breed of parents. Every single neighbor loves my dog. My dog actually socializes with every single dog in my neighborhood. However, many of the other dogs fight with each other...Go figure.. I don't know how my dog today is every dogs friend in my neighborhood. He is protective, and takes no mess from other dogs...And he is not a bully, he even goes out of his way to socialize with the bully dogs in the neighborhood. I also want to mention the Gaurd Dog that we bought from Cooperhaus... Rocky - But not his father Rocky ...I had the son of the Original "Rocky" This dog was everything...He was my dog that protected me, and no one, and no dog could touch me if i asked Rocky to Guard ! However, he was safe, and never harmed anyone, nor any person that did not bother us. He was social with other dogs, but just a serious dog, and would break off something if he needed to. Very smart, sharp and everything you can think of good dog. I could go on, but I will last say I appreciate very much the service that I received from Brent Cooper and Mr. Calvin Cooper of Cooperhaus. Regards
