I sent Jackson to Corey for a couple of things: improve his recall (he basically had none), improve his reaction to people who were not his immediate family and improve some of the basic obedience I had already given him. Jackson did the 2 week board and train and I couldn't be happier with the results! I now have a dog that listens and responds to my commands and he knows what I am asking and I know how to ask him for what I want. He heals off leash without an issue, he no longer barks at everyone that passes our fence, he comes when called & our bond is much better. Now that I am confident in his training, he can be confident in me leading him and it makes a huge difference in our bond! I highly recommend Corey as he gives your dog as well as you the tools to have a happy, healthy relationship. You do have some work to do as well and it is important to remember when you get your dog back that the work must continue, but Corey gives you the tools to be successful!

Amazing! We did 2 one week board and trains with Corey for our Olde English Bulldog. Our puppy Tank is our 1st OEB and he is quite stubborn with a mind of his own. We were struggling with basic commands and started looking into training. My sister is a friend of Corey’s and she told me a little bit about what he does and suggested I follow his instagram page so I could see for myself (@Corek9solutions). He has tons of pictures and videos of the dogs he trains with before and after progress. I was definitely very impressed with all the videos of the dogs he has worked with. Initially I did hold off a bit thinking I could handle this on my own, he wasn’t a “bad” dog just a puppy with a lot of energy and he was only 4 months old and was costing us enough money in vet bills for vaccinations and all the new supplies needed with a new puppy. But then Tank was getting more stubborn and was impossible on the leash for walks and was getting a little too free out in the yard/ getting a little rough with our kids. So then I decided it was time to contact Corey. Let me tell you it was the BEST decision ever! When I talked with Corey I asked what the board and train is all about, pricing etc and Corey was absolutely thorough in all of the details especially on how dogs really benefit from the training. During the board and train he posted stories on his Instagram page so we could see how Tank was doing which was great because we missed him! The most beneficial part to us was once the training was done Corey brought our pup back to our house and he did an at home session to show us how to interact with him, and showed us all of the commands “sit, down, place, no, out and heel for walks”. I was so impressed but also a little nervous that I couldn’t keep up with all of it, Corey makes it look so easy! We were reassured that we could contact Corey at anytime for any questions or concerns which I’m sure I took full advantage of, but he was always so thorough and I never felt like it was a bother to him. Our puppy went back for another week of training to sharpen his skills and also to get trained on the ecollar, something I wasn’t too familiar with thinking they were only for “bad dogs” and I could not have been more naive! Corey explained in detail how they are not harmful, they are a line of communication and for the safety of your dog like if they run into a busy street! The ecollar is really an amazing training tool, and again after the training Corey came to our house and gave us an awesome session on how to correctly use the ecollar with the commands and I could not be happier. We work with our pup daily to keep his skills sharp, there’s hiccups here and there but that’s to be expected we just work through it, or again Corey’s only a message away to help! Definite Pros for us for the training, 1.- the “place” command is just wonderful as a mom of two with an insane amount of laundry we can put him in a “place” command and I am able to fold all the laundry now without him getting up and running through the piles anymore! This also makes vacuuming a breeze now since he used to attack the vacuum. When we are ready for him to get up a simple “break” command and he is free to run around. 2- “Come”- We are still working on perfecting this but he is doing so well. If he runs out of the yard simply using the tools and “come” he will run back to us, instead of the worst case scenario (getting hit by a car, running after another dog etc) 3- “heel! He is such a good walker now, no more dodging ahead or leash pulling. He knows to be at my side and at my pace, makes walks much more enjoyable for us both! 4- “Out” such an important command since he is a puppy and could get into things that could harm him (eating trash or getting into the kids small toys) Last but not least, Tank is still a puppy! He still plays, still is his goofy self. Corey will not “break your dog” he is compassionate and thorough in his training and it shows. Our dog really loves the training and we are so grateful! I met the trainer, Corey Edwards last Sunday to start training my 2 year old pup. Yes I know I should have started at a much younger age. However I had forgot what I had learned from my training with Elaine Brooks with my lab, Coop. My aim is to get Remie to the same point as i had with Coop walking w/o a leash. I believe Corey with get Remie n I to that point n beyond. I recommend him training methods
