Core K9 Training

My experience at Core K9 was top notch. We started with a puppy who lacked confidence and needed additional training, and now we have a well trained pup who is ready to take on the world! After completing a 3 wk board and train program, and puppy class I have spent a good amount of time at Core k9 with Amber and Clayton, and I can't speak highly enough. If you are questioning if it is safe and okay to leave your fur baby in thier care, I can assure you that it is, and that it is a worthy investment. We are looking forward to taking more classes soon! Great people, great service, and great opportunities!

I cannot recommend Core K9 enough. I brought my dogs to them to help refresh our basics and polish up our off leash work and Amber and Clayton are just amazing. They have a very balanced approach to training which I adore and is hard to find in Lexington. They are both super attentive to what you want from your dogs and great at working up a game plan to get you there. Whether you book a group class, board and train, or private lessons, you and your dog will be so happy!

Amber and Clayton are the BEST. These guys are probably the only people around here I’d trust to watch my dogs 😂 I’m very picky with who I trust my dogs with because I have a Belgian Malinois, who was previously abused at his last boarding situation. When I met Amber and Clayton and saw how easy they were able to handle working with my dog, and how much he actually liked them as well, I knew these were people I could trust. It’s very rare to find true dog people who know how to work with harder breeds, I am so glad I found them!!!

I would definitely bring my dog to Core K9 Training if I lived in Kentucky! Amber prioritizes cleanliness in her facility and she pays great attention to detail with each and every dog. 🙂 In the board and train program it is mentioned, your dog gets not only physical stimulation but that they get mental stimulation as well. Which I find very unique! Most boarding places wouldn’t bother with mental stimulation. The structured daycare is very unique as well because a lot of doggie day cares put 20 dogs together and the staff have 0 clue how to read body language and lots of dog fights happen. But that does not happen at Core K9!! I highly recommend this training facility and I would feel safe taking my personal dog here!
