Core K9 Training

I can't recommend Core 9 enough! I have 2 1/2 yr old Sable Shepherd. He was fear based defensive with everyone except with me and my husband. We are very out of the way and see no one. New neighbors started using their land and there was no controlling my boy. They offered the 6 week boarding and training. The first day interview my boy was taking treats out of her hand. It improved quickly from there. The most important part was my training days every Friday. I will be for ever grateful for the wonderful treatment and training we received. Other trainers had turned him down after 1 phone call. Please give them a call.

Core K9 was recommended to us by a friend, and we are very grateful for the recommendation. We purchased an Australian Shepard puppy in May 2025 and knew we would need help with his training. In the 3 months Core K9 has been working with our puppy, we've noticed a rapid development in him. Amber and Clayton are definitely experienced professional dog trainers. They are patient with the dogs and even more so with the owners! Highly recommend checking them out.

I highly recommend Core K9 Training. Its ran by great people who truly care about the dogs they work with. We have used them for both training and as a boarding facility. The first time we went to do a meet and greet with them, we had a 30 minute block scheduled that ended up lasting an hour because they took the time to explain everything and show us the options we had. I wish we would have found them sooner as we spent thousands with other trainers with minimal results.

Core K9 was the best decision I’ve ever made for me and my dog! He is a very active, and sometimes reactive breed. He went from walking (and pulling)me to me walking with him walking gently by my side. We enjoy our times walking long trails so much now..I’m not worried about him pulling me down the trail. He’s also very attentive to in-house commands, like place, that help him not be to over-anxious to visit, kiss etc. with visitors who are not used to active dogs. He’s a complete, attentive joy! Showing no reaction to other dogs we meet out trail-walking, and walking in my neighborhood who are somewhat reactive. I am nothing but 100% satisfied with Core 9! At first I thought their prices seemed a bit high, but the training they have given me and my dog was invaluable, and worth every penny!
