Cosmic Dog Training

Kathleen’s classes have been a great experience for us and our Golden puppy. I expect we will have an ongoing training relationship for sometime to come. Kathleen is an absolute pleasure and joy to work with. I think she understands dogs better than any other person I have ever met. Truly a dog behaviorist.. she just gets them. …maybe she was one in a past life☺️.. She has taught us so much about how to communicate with our dog. I have had many dogs before our current pup, but I don’t think I have ever really understood what my dog is thinking or why he is doing what he is doing like I do now. This is not your average doggy class……… This is more about behaviors, understanding why dogs do what they do and learning to respond to what your canine companion needs are and what they are trying to tell you. Every time we leave a class, we have a little something new that helps us understand each other a bit more. At six months, after attending several classes, we have a very well behaved golden retriever who sleeps through the night, who crates well, who behaves well around other people and animals, who walks very well on and off leash and is very responsive to us. His focus is us. Puppies are work!!.. It’s important to lay a solid foundation early on, then you will have a great dog that is easy and a pleasure to have in your life. Kathleen will help you lay that foundation and help you with any and all issues. She’s amazing!! I cannot say enough positive things about her, plus she’s just the kindest most real genuine human being I’ve met in a very long time! She’s good for the dog and she’s good for you too!

We hired Kathleen to help us work through some resource issues we were having with our two large male dogs. We are so grateful to have found her! She is helping us to better understand our dogs and how to help them be more well adjusted and joyful. She is nonjudgmental and a very clear communicator.
