Kathleen Valentine is a certified Pro Dog Trainer (PDT) with Absolute Dogs Geek & Genius credentials and a Level 6 Diploma in Canine Behaviour in progress. She specializes in reactivity, anxiety, herding breeds, and puppy foundations using games-based, science-backed methods. Group classes, private training, behavior consultations, virtual sessions, and in-home visits available. As a trained dog behaviorist, Kathleen is wonderful teaching you how to connect with your dog, earn their trust, boost their confidence and learn life skills to move you both forward in your journey together. My 5-month Cavapoo puppy, Nalu and I both love working with her. He shows up excited, engaged and ready to learn and leaves mentally exhausted and ready for a nap. I'm looking forward to scent training and then service dog training with Kathleen.
Kathleen has worked wonders with our mini schnauzer! She used to constantly bark and growl at certain family members, and now she is loving and affectionate with them! This was a result that I did not think was possible and I am so glad we worked with Kathleen!
