Are you a certified dog trainer?
Yes – I am a certified dog trainer, who received a Certificate in Canine Studies (CCS) through the Northwest School of Canine Studies (NWSCS) — the only state certified school on the West Coast. I also studied under a local canine behavior specialist for a year after graduating, and I continue to attend seminars and classes to ensure I remain up to date on all the latest research.
I first began training dogs professionally in 2009, so 16 years as of February 2025. It's my passion and I really enjoy helping people along their dog training journey.
I would describe myself as a relational trainer, who employs a holistic and collaborative approach to help owners devise an approach that works best for them. No two dogs, owners, or situations are identical, so I treat every client and their dog as a unique situation.
My rates vary depending on the type of training you're looking for and the number of sessions you select. Please see the pricing page to see specific rate information.
I provide private, in-home dog training and walk and trains in the Greater Seattle area, Edmonds area, Mercer Island, and Shoreline. I appreciated how easy it was to walk her through everything via video chat as well as the contactless key drop-off/pick-up process.
I highly recommend Cosmic's pet sitting services, especially for bunnies and other small pets!

Brea is such a wonderful dog trainer. She listened to my needs patiently and customized the training to best fit my requirements and my dog's personality. My dog fell in love with her and would always look forward to meeting her again at our regular training time. Brea not only trained my dog, but also taught me how to continue the training after our sessions were finished. She is always willing to answer any follow up questions I have. I had so many questions because I'm a first time dog owner, and she helped me with everything I needed. I have built a much stronger bond with my dog through her training and we've now found a common language to talk to each other. I feel we understand each other better because of her training. I would highly highly recommend her as a dog trainer.

Cosmic Home & Pet is wonderful! Great communication throughout, and adorable updates with pictures. My cat was so comfortable with Brea, and I could tell when I got home that he was well taken care of and happy. Such a great feeling knowing I've found my go-to pet sitter!

Brea watched all three of our cats for a week! Our cats have been through some hard times so they require special care. Usually cat sitters never see our cats while they are in their care because they are so scared. Brea was petting our cats within three days, I can’t tell you how amazed I am about that. My cats are so comfortable around Brea. When we came back the cats were so calm and everything was in place. Brea also made sure everything was clean and disinfected for us due to covid. Brea sent the cutest collages, you can tell that they take their time to get to know and make a connection with your cats. I couldn’t recommend them more!!!
