Country Life K9 Training

I cannot recommend Country Life K9 Training enough! We have a very hyper Australian Shepherd, Winnie, and live in a neighborhood in DC with lots of activity and distractions. When Winnie turned 2, she became very reactive towards pedestrians, bikers, and other dogs which made our walks very stressful. Her change in behavior was worrisome because we did not want her to cause any harm towards us or our neighbors. A friend of ours recommended County Life K9 Training and it was the best decision we could have made for Winnie and our family! Lauren and Sarah taught her to trust her humans during walks, so she is now able to let distractions go by without even flinching. Her newfound reliability and predictability make our walks much safer and more enjoyable. She is also calmer around the house and listens to all the commands she learned at Country Life K9 Training. It is amazing to discover what dogs are capable of when you allow them to reach their full potential with amazing trainers like Lauren and Sarah!

Chapo boarding review Boarding your dog is bound to happen , so when you do plan on doing it , I recommend doing it with the same amazing trainers who trained your dog to begin with. You know they’ll watch your fur babies with the same exact love they give everybody. I can’t recommend Country Life K9 Training enough! My 6-month-old husky mix recently completed her 3-week board and train program, and the results have far surpassed my expectations. Lauren and Sarah were absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Before training, my pup was full of energy and a bit challenging to manage, but now she walks beautifully on a leash and is equipped with essential skills like sit, down, stay, come, and place. The transformation is incredible, and I can see how much effort and expertise Lauren and Sarah poured into her training. My biggest goal was to be able to take my well-behaved and mannered dog with me everywhere, and that is practically effortless now. I am so proud to show off her skills in public and she receives so many compliments everywhere we go. Communication was excellent during the program—I always felt updated on her progress and knew she was in great hands. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they work with and are passionate about what they do. If you’re considering training for your dog, I highly recommend Country Life K9 Training. They are great. I did both their 3 week board and train program and boarding services. My dog Zeus had so much fun there and Lauren and Sarah provide daily update pictures and videos on their social media platforms. I can not recommend them enough! Zeus listens well now and is great to take on walks and out in public! Editing this review because Google is not letting me leave a second one. I wanted to update and say Zeus is still doing great with his training and I brought his brother Nash a Golden Retriever to Lauren and Sarah and now he is just as obedient while still his crazy self! They are both great to take out in public together and listen so well! The 3 week board and train program is probably the best money spent as we can now enjoy taking the dogs with us pretty much everywhere we go!

I highly recommend Country Life K-9 Training. We have two small children and very busy lives. We tried previous training programs and nothing quite stuck. Our small children did not even want to be in the same room as our dog. But then he went to Country Life and came home an entirely different dog! We are able to take him on stress free walks. He's able to join the family during bonding time, because he's not jumping on/knocking down the kids. He's no longer barking obsessively. He's the perfect gentleman now!
