Country Life K9 Training

Peace of mind is a well trained dog! We brought our one-year old Golden Retriever named Calvert to Country Life for their 4-week program earlier this year. Our choice was determined by their setup (we also have cats in our house) and their robust social media presence (we were able to see updates on Cal throughout his training). Now, Calvert is better behaved in the house and knows his recall command well enough to go off leash in some situations. He's still energetic, playful, and goofy but he is far more respectful and his training is paying off major dividends. I would easily recommend Country Life K9 to anyone in the DMV!

Chapo was our 8 month old GSD and he was a bit of a handful and I thought I was doing good with basic training at home. But once we gave our baby over to Country Life it was a transformation we were so happy to get. Just in 3 weeks he’s a smart obedient dog. They also reach out after you take your baby home to make sure he or she is still following everything that was taught. I would highly recommend trying them out for your dogs and see for yourself !!

Lauren is an amazing trainer, and was a perfect fit for my dog, Huck. She listened to what I most wanted to work on with him and really focused on those needs- Huck came home with great leash manners, great off leash recall, and excellent ability to hang out in public spaces. Something I really appreciated is that Lauren and Sarah posted tons of detailed video updates on Huck's progress- my family loved being able to see how he was doing and it helped me really understand what I needed to do with him when he got home. Most of all I felt like they really "got" Huck and genuinely cared about him- I felt great having him stay with them and was confident he was having a great experience.
