Cover K9 Training

Our experience with Cover K9 has been phenomenal! Walking Charlie (60lbs labradoodle) was dreadful. He would pull and lunge on our walks, become distracted, and bark aggressively at people, cyclists, dogs, and deer. We could not help but feel shame. It was stressful, but then we met Gideon. Gideon is an exceptional teacher whose positive training methods and techniques are helping us build a better relationship with Charlie. He emphasizes producing calmness through the leash while on walks, which has made an enormous difference. Charlie has made significant progress and continues to do so one walk at a time. We highly recommend Cover K9 and Gideon to anyone struggling to communicate with their dog. They speak woof!

It's a rare event that I leave a five star review, but this business definitely deserves just that. Justin is very fair and understanding. We have a golden retriever that had a very complicated history as far as medical condition goes and we were a little late on training, and I never thought that we would be where we are today and that would not have been without the help of Gideon who is an instructor at cover k-9. Between private sessions and the board and train, Athena understands the concept of stay, controlling impulsivity and reactivity. Thank you a ton.

If you’re looking for the kind of place that will give you that warm feeling of money well spent then look no further than Justin and the rest of the crew of Cover K9. Individually each of the instructors are borderline artistic with their capabilities. The facility is immaculate and as any dog owner knows keeping a clean house is damn near impossible with a pup but the level of commitment and dedication these guys and girls have for their craft will genuinely leave you feeling like you found the perfect place for one of, if the the most important part of your family.

Exceptional dog training! We have taken our Australian Labradoodles to Cover K-9 since we first got them as puppies. We have done private lessons and group classes for puppies, all ages, and reactivity. The instructors (Justin, Gideon, and Tiago) are extremely knowledgeable and professional, explain things clearly, and are able to achieve immediate results that we must then reinforce at home with consistency. Each lesson is very practical and focused on the owner/dog’s needs (ie, loose leash walking, reactivity, basic commands, etc). We highly recommend Cover K-9, and after working with some other trainers, we will only take our pups to Cover K-9.
