I went on vacation for two days. My dog is a Aussie she was taken very good care of.I would recommend 👌 cowboy Joe's to anyone.

I boarded my dog Scrappy for a weekend at Cowboy Joe's dog boarding. Scrappy was a great mood when I picked him up I took him to the beach. He was smelling clean. We had a great time at the beach The owner was helpful when I was booking his appointment.

I deeply urge you to reconsider using this facility for your dogs. My dog passed tragically while in her care due to the owners lack of communication, and negligence on her part. This has been an incredibly devastating, and expensive “mistake” she has caused our family.

As the owner of Cowboy Joe’s, I am deeply heartbroken by this tragic incident. Despite following safety measures and the owners’ requested routine for the dogs—kenneling them together and feeding them separately, as we had done successfully in the past—a devastating event occurred when one dog tragically attacked and killed the other. I was devastated for the family and shared my deepest condolences with them at the time. This incident happened suddenly, with no prior signs of aggression, and has been one of the most heartbreaking moments I’ve experienced as a caretaker. An animal control specialist assessed the situation the same day and noted that stress from being away from owners can sometimes lead to unpredictable behavior. It is truly devastating that this happened while these dogs were in my care. Once again, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the family during this incredibly difficult time. We love Cowboy Joe's kennel!! We have taken our dog here for a few years now, (probably over 15 times) and it's by far our favorite place. The owner is so sweet and accommodating, and always takes such good care of our dog. Our dog runs through their door every time we come because he's so excited to be there. He loves it! We won't ever go anywhere else👍😊

This is a great place to take you pup. They treat every dog as if they were their own. My pups love to be there. They even come home smelling great instead of smelling like a stinky dog kennel. They are so conveniently located between downtown SLC and the airport. It's a great place to drop your dog off on the way out of town and know that your dog will be feeling like they are on a vacation while you are gone.
