Crafty Canine Club

I have had such a wonderful experience with Crafty Canine Club! Not only has everyone been super professional and helpful as I work on some behavioral issues with my pup, but you can really feel how genuinely they care about the dogs in their care! The facility is immaculate, the trainers are amazing and so knowledgeable, and my dog has so much fun when I’m away! The fact that they check in with me and send videos and pictures makes all the difference! I never have to wonder if he’s being taken care of when I’m gone. Side note- I’ve seen such an improvement in my dogs anxiety and temperament since working with Don and incorporating his feedback! He’s amazing! Highly highly recommend this place for boarding and training!

I just don’t know where to start! Donn and his team have the biggest hearts, and are truly dog whisperers. Their method is relationship based and it absolutely works. They have it down to a science. We brought in our rambunctious Aussie of 10 months in for a 21 day board and train. She as jumping, chasing everything that moved and had severe separation anxiety. What we got back was an amazing angel, her spirit is so much more at ease and she is following her commands. We have been provided daily videos, texts and support through and after the training and we just love Crafty Canines. They are a part of our family. Thank you! Thank you Michael and Davita

We have two Aussies, one is 7 months old and the other is 2 years old, who had a lot of excitement and jumping issues, along with some crazy leash pulling. We couldn’t have people over without them jumping all over them and we couldn’t go on walks without them dragging us around the neighborhood. We met Don and the trainers for an assessment and after talking to them for a few minutes, we felt like they knew what they were doing and they would be able to help us. We signed both of our Aussies up for a 2 day boarding with Crafty Canine Club. When we picked them up, there was already a difference in their behavior and they gave us the tools to keep working on their jumping and excitement. At our first class (about a week after the boarding), we practiced their jumping and excitement, along with a long walk that taught my boyfriend and I how to walk our dogs properly so they would listen and stay next to us as we walked, without pulling us. We practiced everything Don taught us, and our aussies have improved SO much! It’s so enjoyable to take our dogs on walks now. We even got a compliment the last time we walked them. Someone said our dogs were so well behaved! Crazy improvement from the walks where we would get dragged the whole time and couldn’t control them when another person or dog came close. We’re so much more in control now and it feels so good! We’re so happy with the training we’ve received from Crafty Canine Club. We’ve only had 2 classes so far and a 2 day boarding with Crafty Canine Club and we have seen amazing progress with our pups. We plan on continuing our training with them and will be signing up for our 3rd class soon! We are planning a weekend to take them back for a 2 day boarding too, and definitely going to make the 2 day boarding a reoccurring thing! The boarding is great because it teaches our dogs really great social skills. Our older dog was a bit freaked out around bigger dogs and would sometimes snip at them at the dog park or beach. It was really stressful and kind of embarrassing to take her places knowing she might snip at another dog and cause a scene. After the 2 day boarding, we took her to the park and she played with other dogs and didn’t have a problem with any of the dogs! She seemed so much happier and so much more relaxed. We think Crafty Canine does an amazing job creating a safe environment for the dogs to play and socialize and we really think that is the reason she does so well playing with dogs at the park and beach now! We want both dogs to keep going to Crafty Canine Club for weekend boarding so they get that safe socializing and get that Aussie energy out! They come home tired, relaxed, happy, and ready to listen. We definitely recommend Crafty Canine Club. Super professional, friendly, responsive to calls and texts if you have any questions, and you can train at their center, at your home, or other variations, so it’s really accommodating to what works best for you and your dog(s). Booking online is also really convenient. Seriously take your pups here if you want or need your pup trained! You will definitely see a difference with your dog if you listen to Don and consistently practice what he teaches you!

We have recently started using the services at Crafty Canine Club. First, let's talk about the outside area for the dogs. It is really large, so the dogs have plenty of room to run and play. It was well maintained and very clean. When we first met Don, he has us come to his place for an initial visit. Before our visit, he provided us with links to different blogs/articles so we can read a little bit on training methods. We have an Australian Labradoodle puppy (currently 8 months old). He did a quick assessment of Cocoa and asked us what concerns we had about her behavior. He took diligent notes and laid out a general plan for training for Cocoa. He was not pushy and didn't try to sell us on some kind of huge training package. I appreciated his honesty and it was clear that he has lots of experience. We decided to do a 2 day boarding session with some initial training, which went very well. Don sent us tons of pictures and videos and Cocoa seemed really happy. We are planning to do the 2-week training package that Don offers so we can eliminate some of the challenges we are having with Cocoa (jumping up on new people, barking at dogs when we are driving in the car, etc.). Don has done a great job communicating with us, and we appreciate that. If you are considering getting training for your dog, you should definitely consider reaching out to Don and Crafty Canine Club
