At Crafty Canine Club, we are committed to each owner that comes to us for assistance. We believe that every dog deserves a chance, which is why we are committed to making the transition to a dog owner as easy as possible. With multiple different training options and classes, you will find everything you need to help raise your dog's social ability, obedience, and confidence.
This four class package Program teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step CGC test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. It is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups and some homeowner’s insurance companies and apartment complexes over discounts on pet rent if you have this certification. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

This four class package provides an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including house training, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. This is a 2-week board and train program designed to help dogs that have trouble with obedience, impulse control, and reactivity. We use training sessions, activity logs, as well as fitness and sleep trackers to make sure they are well rested and well exercised! By the end of two weeks, you will go home with a well-behaved dog, a training log of their improvements, and a plan for their future! In this program we work on the following: loose leash walking, sit, down, recall, impulse control, jumping, counter-surfing, mouthing, nipping, and more!
This is a 3-week board and train program designed to help dogs that have trouble with aggression, social issues, and reactivity. Similar to our 2-week program, your dog will have daily training sessions, activity logs, as well as fitness and sleep trackers in order to monitor progress and make sure they are well rested and well exercised! The main difference for our 3-week program is that it gives us an extra week to help get to the root of the issues with aggression and social disorders. This time allows the dog to get comfortable in its new environment so that we can identify what is causing the unwanted behaviors. In this program we work on the following: aggression, food and/or resource guarding, separation anxiety, severe fear issues, reactivity on-leash, and everything else listed in our 14-day program!

AKC Community CanineProgram details
This four class package is the next step for your dog after AKC Urban Canine. To earn the CGCA title, the dog must be registered or listed with AKC and have a Canine Good Citizen title on record. In AKC Community Canine, dogs can earn the CGCA (Advanced CGC) title. The goal of AKC Community Canine is to test the dog’s skills in a natural setting. For example, rather than the dog being tested in a ring, in AKC Community Canine, the “walks through a crowd” test item will involve the dog walking through a real crowd at a dog show, on a busy sidewalk, at a training club or in a local park. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

This four class package is the next step for your dog after Canine Good Citizen Class. AKC Urban Canine requires that the dog demonstrates CGC skills and beyond in an urban setting. As with Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban Canine has a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Urban CGC title. If you’re like me and went down the rabbit hole of researching board and trains because of all the internet horror stories, read this!! I am truly amazed and so grateful for Don, Gabe, and the team at Crafty Canine Club. They have a ton of certified experience and have done fantastic behavioral modification work with my French Bulldog (and myself) in their board and train programs. I have learned to be a better leader for my dog and how to keep him mentally balanced so he’s at his best. The structure of the training programs and regular boarding at CCC are solid and well planned so our furry family can learn and have fun in a safe environment while in the care of strong leadership. A bonus in my particular case; CCC techniques are aligned with what is recommended by my board certified vet behaviorist and was covered by my pet insurance. CCC communicates with me openly and regularly before, during, and after any bookings and will send photos and videos of the fun which helped ease my thoughts in the beginning. Now, I will only use CCC for care and follow up training for my boy. I believe they truly care about him and our relationship. A very small investment for huge lifelong returns you won’t regret!

We’ve had an awesome and entirely positive experience with crafty canine club. It is clear everyone there really cares about your dog. The area for the dogs to play is very large and there’s a great emphasis on safety and cleanliness. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend

Our pups aren’t the most social dogs at first but the staff at Crafty Canine Club assured us that introduction would be monitored and slow paced.
We did a trial stay and our dogs seemed to have truly enjoyed themselves ! Our senior dog enjoyed his independence on the property while our youngest loved the staff so much she wanted to be near them more.
We received updates throughout the day and it was such a highlight of our days to receive these picture updates.
We can’t wait for our pups to enjoy more stays here with their pup friends and the friendly staff at Crafty Canine Club!
