Canine Good Citizen preparationProgram details
This four class package Program teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The 10-step CGC test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. It is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups and some homeowner’s insurance companies and apartment complexes over discounts on pet rent if you have this certification. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

This four class package provides an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including house training, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

This is a 2-week board and train program designed to help dogs that have trouble with obedience, impulse control, and reactivity. We use training sessions, activity logs, as well as fitness and sleep trackers to make sure they are well rested and well exercised! By the end of two weeks, you will go home with a well-behaved dog, a training log of their improvements, and a plan for their future! In this program we work on the following: loose leash walking, sit, down, recall, impulse control, jumping, counter-surfing, mouthing, nipping, and more!
This is a 3-week board and train program designed to help dogs that have trouble with aggression, social issues, and reactivity. Similar to our 2-week program, your dog will have daily training sessions, activity logs, as well as fitness and sleep trackers in order to monitor progress and make sure they are well rested and well exercised! The main difference for our 3-week program is that it gives us an extra week to help get to the root of the issues with aggression and social disorders. This time allows the dog to get comfortable in its new environment so that we can identify what is causing the unwanted behaviors. In this program we work on the following: aggression, food and/or resource guarding, separation anxiety, severe fear issues, reactivity on-leash, and everything else listed in our 14-day program!

AKC Community CanineProgram details
This four class package is the next step for your dog after AKC Urban Canine. To earn the CGCA title, the dog must be registered or listed with AKC and have a Canine Good Citizen title on record. In AKC Community Canine, dogs can earn the CGCA (Advanced CGC) title. The goal of AKC Community Canine is to test the dog’s skills in a natural setting. For example, rather than the dog being tested in a ring, in AKC Community Canine, the “walks through a crowd” test item will involve the dog walking through a real crowd at a dog show, on a busy sidewalk, at a training club or in a local park. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!
AKC Urban CanineProgram details
This four class package is the next step for your dog after Canine Good Citizen Class. AKC Urban Canine requires that the dog demonstrates CGC skills and beyond in an urban setting. As with Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban Canine has a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Urban CGC title. This class includes a free test and certification through the American Kennel Club!

In my experience they have been very responsive to texts/calls, and they always keep us updated on how the dogs are getting along.
Most importantly, I prefer this to any other dog sitting service, because they just make it easy for us to leave town stress-free!

We love Crafty Canine, our dog Peppa is a rescue Bullmastiff, she is scared of everyone but Crafty Canine is like her second home, she loves Don and his team and never resists staying there, it feels like she is really excited everytime we pack her bag. What more can you wish for in a boarding facility? It's beautiful, clean, fun and engaging for our medium mix-breed girl. She came back to us happy and healthy and a bit more grown up than when we sent her. The staff exceeded my expectations in every way. I love that you can pay for an hour of of 1:1 training as you want it, and even a bath! We definitely will be doing the 2-week board and train program this year. Crafty Canine Club has been so fantastic for myself & my dogs. We went through the puppy class, which helped tremendously to teach me how to establish rules and handle proper socialization and with my pups. The trainers were very knowledgable and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly.
I love the structure provided during overnight stays and knowing that my pups will get adequate amounts of playtime as well as training on good behavior while they’re there. I feel completely confident that they are well taken care of & loved while I’m away!
