Eddie and Critical Thinking Dog Services are awesome. He trained our 1 Year old Golden Retriever Pup, Mylo AND trained us in the importance of building structure into his day and building trust in us through rewards and corrections. Everyday is a work in progress and we appreciate how Eddie checks in during the training and after to follow up in Mylo’s progress. Our Golden’s main “issues” is oversocialization and us having trouble walking him with his overexcitement. Eddie taught us how to effectively correct and build structure in every aspect of our interaction from walking to meals to even playing fetch. We also appreciate how he reiterates the potential that there is in our dog. Homework is key! And giving structure to our pup and not just free roam to be King of the house.

I did a background check on this company before hiring him. All information is highly satisfactory. I love my babies very much so I just don’t let my babies go with just anyone. Eddie was kind and friendly. He answered my questions and kept me updated with photos of my dog. I already sent other dog owner to him. Eddie is truly a great dog trainer.

Eddie was amazing! We did the 2-3 week puppy program and when we got Lucy back she was so well behaved. He created a great structure and was thorough with us on how to build on the structure he already created. He was helpful through the entire process and still allows us to contact him whenever we need. Definitely recommend!

We found Eddie in desperation, after it became clear that our shelter dog, Moose, was not only not ready to fly in cabin with us but was increasingly aggressive with people -- and especially me. We selected the 6-7 week rehabilitation program, we could not be happier. While Moose is still a work in progress (aren't we all?), he is so much calmer, so at ease around other dogs, and much calmer -- and even affectionate -- with me. Eddie is also always available if we need his support as things arise. We are also happy to be able to board Moose with Eddie when we travel, knowing that Moose is getting the structure he needs to be is best self. Eddie is super knowledgeable about dogs, and we are lucky to have found him. He's changed our lives -- and Moose's -- for the better and for the the long term!
