We rescued a golden doodle that the pound believes to be approximately 5 year’s old. He came to us as a wild canine. He was ruling the house. It was very difficult for us.
Eddie’s first visit was an evaluation. His conclusion was going back to the basics….sit, down, place and come. That was our homework for two weeks.
We named this wild one Bear
We bought a harness for Bear believing that would help with the pulling on walks. Eddie immediately transferred Bear to a slip collar leash for more control. This is a temporary training tool.
Socialization with other dogs is the next challenge
You will see the immediate change in your dog’s behavior when Eddie takes the leash and you will know that there is hope 🤩 for a calmer well behaved dog. Ps I’m a 74 year old woman at 125 lbs walking a 70 pound dog. It’s for my safety that I called Eddie.

He communicated throughout the duration of my dog's board and training. His updates, pictures, and videos were much appreciated.
We received our dog back after the confidence "course" happy, trained, and healthy.
Eddie followed up to see how things were going and he met with us and our dog a few times for addition behavior issues/concerns. My dog is now happy and living her best life. I'm so grateful for Eddie's knowledge and compassion!

Eddie was great. Have a new shelter dog that is a year old which has extreme puppy behaviors. Too much energy and very hard to keep him from getting into things he shouldn’t be in. Eddie was able to help us understand better ways to not only train our dog, but how to train ourselves in being better dog owners. I was very stubborn with some of the gear he recommended, and was hesitant to purchase all the tools. I pushed back and had that “he’s right moment” the very night of our puppy’s return. The next day I purchased everything he mentioned, and now on a better path of correcting our dog’s behavior. Eddie was very direct, which isn’t always the easiest when opinions differ but can honestly say, I should have listened. Eddie is still checking in and offering support now that our dog is back. I recommend Critical Thinking and Eddie to any dog owner that needs help. I also recommend to be more open than I was and be willing to try his methods. Working out so far and look forward to using Critical Thinking and Eddie for more services in the future. Thanks Eddie for working with KC and a stubborn client.
