I found Critical Thinking Dog Services on Google and was hesitant at first—sending my 116lb St. Bernard puppy, Max, away for 6–7 weeks felt overwhelming, especially with the strict visiting rules. But after Eddie came to assess Max, I felt confident. He didn’t pressure me, wasn’t salesy, and was honest about what Max needed. Max left with him that very day. When Max came home, I expected a perfectly trained dog—but I realized it was just the beginning. Like a kid returning from school, Max still needed structure at home. I almost gave up because the follow-through felt like a lot. But I’m so glad I didn’t. Max is now my best friend. He listens, understands boundaries, and has become the dog I always hoped for. Even more—he’s helped me. I went from inactive to fully engaged, Max and in go for a walk every morning and night. Critical Thinking didn’t just help Max; they helped me, too. We couldn’t be more grateful for Eddie and the incredible training he provided for our puppy, Moose! When we first brought Moose home, he had no training and was struggling with potty training. Eddie worked with him patiently, helping Moose learn the basics, and now he’s fully potty trained and even crate trained, which has been a huge relief. Beyond that, Eddie’s methods really helped Moose become well-behaved in public and with other dogs. He now walks calmly in crowded areas and interacts wonderfully with other dogs, which we never thought possible when we first brought him home. Eddie’s approach was professional, kind, and effective, and Moose responded so well to his guidance. We highly recommend Eddie to anyone looking to train their dog! I found Eddie over two months ago when I was completely overwhelmed with our one year old female cane corso. Our sweet girl was reacting out of fear and lack of confidence, we were at a place where we had to decide to either get her and us the help to properly care for her needs or put her down (which I was determined to not do!). As an over protected dog mom, I was not willing to let her go. Neither was I willing to simply hand her over to just anyone. When I reached out to Eddie, THAT SAME MORNING he was at our house. I instantly seen the knowledge he had when he stared to point out (our pack of 3 at that time) different characters. He was able to break down which dog did what and why, and he was spot on! He came to our house three more times before we decided to had him out baby girl. By then I believe he realized that it was more me than it was for her… Again, over protective dog mom. He was completely honest about what it was going to take and how long it would take to get her where we needed her to be. We are active with our other dogs. We camp, walk, run, hike, explore breweries, and take road trips a few times a year with our dogs, and we wanted that with our corso as well but her reactivity wouldn’t allow us and our house felt impossible. Eddie put our minds at ease and we allowed him to take our corso with him and start her rehabilitation. Yes, not being able to see her through out that time was difficult, but we trusted him and his process. He ALWAYS respond and send me pictures or videos of her progress. A few days ago we were able to see our girl in action in a public place with many people walking around her. We were amazed to see her completely calm with no reactivity what so ever! A few days later we were able to bring her home. Eddie has made her transition (and ours) the best experience. He is always a text or phone call away if I have questions about keeping our girl focused on her rehab, even at home. His experience shows and all we had to do is trust his system because we see the amazing work he’s done with our corso and her transformation! We would one 100% recommend him to anyone who is having behavioral issues with their pets. Trust his process, trust his knowledge, and trust his love for the work he does! Eddie took my dog Milo for 7 weeks to train and did an amazing job! I was ready to give him up and I found Eddie as a trainer and he turned everything around for us and now I have my baby boy back and he also made sure to send me updates on his progress and any worries I had while he was away he always reassured me! Even now after Milo has been back home Eddie still checks in on how Milo is doing. I would highly recommend Eddie as a trainer!
