I run the k9 unit for the largest mid level Law Enforcement Agency in NY State. This is the 2nd time we have hosted a seminar/workshop where we had Carlos out! This time he teamed up with Grassroots K9! Carlos doesn’t skip a beat and makes sure he is as attentive as possible to your wants and needs. He breaks things down to the most basic of objectives to help you understand what a realistic goal is! The seminar can be whatever you want from it, from theory conversations to being more in the suit and or just working your dog. He is extremely moldable to the kind of environment you chose to run! Every time we have a conversation I have taken something away from it! Slow and controlled! He doesn’t try and bang you or your dog up! I absolutely recommend getting some knowledge from this man!

Sending our Pyr to train with CRK9 was one of the best decisions we’ve made since purchasing her. Carlos and his staff truly love what they do and are exceptional at it. Our dog came home a different animal without any changes in her personality or temperament - still just one, big happy, (and now WELL BEHAVED) pup. Carlos and Alyse are extremely pleasant and professional and I never worry about Bunny anytime we board her with them. Whenever we pull into their driveway, Bunny is excited to be there. I can’t recommend them enough.

Very knowledgeable, very welcoming, and wants to hear your story. He admits he doesn’t know everything and will reach out to many different people to find you an answer if needed. Can easily read the behavior of your pup, and come up with a solution on how to do something a better way. This is the second time I’ve trained with him for an extended period of time, and my dog has gotten better every single time. Can’t wait to train with him again.

Carlos CRK9- and his team are top notch. He is an amazing trainer, hands down. He has amazing methods that make the dog happy they are training with him. My dog came back to me after a board and train with Carlos and she was obedient and happy. He bonded with her and loved her. He even incorporated her into his morning routine in his home to get her acclimated to appropriate home life. She came back confident and happy . He made sure she ate enough. He covered everything because he cares. He is an amazing trainer and if you have any doubt look no further , you will not regret it. This place is amazing! From the initial phone call with Alyse to today, they have been so helpful. They don’t rush anything. They took the time to let our dog get comfortable with them before they even attempted any training. They’re so patient and passionate about what they do. They spend a lot of time educating and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them anytime for assistance. They’re super accommodating and go way above and beyond! I can’t recommend them enough!
