For nearly three decades, Cross Creek Kennel has been a trusted sporting dog training facility in Crockett, Texas. We specialize in gun dog training, retriever development, hunt test preparation, and obedience training for medium to large working and active companion breeds. In addition to training, we maintain a selective AKC Labrador Retriever breeding program focused on producing well-rounded hunting and working companions with strong lineage and temperament. We proudly serve dog owners throughout Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Beaumont, Waco, Palestine, Nacogdoches, and Austin.

The love they show for animals is great
Matt and Helena stepped in and helped me out when an accident forced me to stop training my German Shepard pup. They are wonderful!
Matt & Helena provide first class service at Cross Creek Kennel. Their commitment to their craft and willingness to explain what they are working on with your dog makes the obedience/training process seamless. We can't thank them enough and will always be sending our dogs to Cross Creek! Lucky to have found them
Helena and Matt are 1st class! We enrolled our rescue puppy in their obedience program, and 8 weeks later, he is a fabulous, well trained dog. Its obvious that they are very concerned with the dog's well being also. Our "Buddy" was always welcomed, and had no hesitation to stay. We highly recommend Cross Creek Kennel!
