Dan is awesome! I got a new english cocker spaniel puppy and wanted to make sure to set him up for success, learn how to be the best dog mom, and to adjust to having a puppy in an apartment setting. I was really looking for something that was personalized and felt like it was tailored to Torden's specific needs and my own, something I don't think you get from the standard pet store classes. Dan is always super excited and super helpful with questions, we both not only learned a lot but enjoy doing the training at home and outside. While he is still learning (he is only 4.5M old), I get compliments about how well behaved he is and I can't thank Dan enough. We are looking forward to our last few puppy sessions and then will work to see how we can continue as he grows up!

Cannot recommend Dan enough! He's been tremendously helpful in working with my dog, Copper, who was terrified of everything and resorted to having big explosive reactions. Dan has also been so incredibly flexible in working with us through Copper's numerous health issues, and knowing when to take a break for the day and reschedule. He's set us up with the fundamentals needed to be able to work through all of Copper's complex opinions and we can finally enjoy doing all the fun things again!

Working with Dan has been an absolute game changer for my family. He took a crazed, stubborn bulldog and transformed Manny into a calm, obedient, and truly enjoyable member of the household. The days of tugging, pulling, crawling all over visitors and selective hearing are gone. Manny can now handle basic tasks with confidence. The best part is that Manny and I had so much fun along the way we didn’t even realize we were both in training. After about 2 weeks or so, my son in law stated, “I can’t believe this is the same dog!” Dan has a gift for keeping training sessions exciting and positive. His knowledge of obedience, training and reinforcement is impressive, but what really stood out was his patience—not just with Manny, but with me as well. He took the time to teach me how to be a better leader, ensuring the training stuck long after each session ended. If you’re looking for a trainer who is skilled, patient, and genuinely invested in helping both you and your dog succeed, Dan is your best choice. Manny’s transformation speaks for itself, I wish I didn’t wait as long as I did !
