Professional and Knowledgeable! Dan helped us make huge strides with our 7 year old Schnauzer, Sherman. He has an extensive background working with a variety of breeds and really tailors the training to your needs and concerns. The fee he charges is well worth it. Not only was Sherman trained on many of the basics by Dan himself, in addition, he trained on our whole family on how to deal with him. He gave us all the tools and training necessary to continue working towards our goals. I would recommend Dan to anyone who needs help or training for their canine. Appreciate you Dan!

Dan has been an amazing trainer for our French Bulldog, Tank. Tank and one of our Boxers were getting into serious fights with each other and we were at our wits end on what to do as we couldn’t stand the thought of having to rehome either one of them. Dan came to our home to see the dogs in their normal setting and determined Tank to be the instigator. Not only has he taught Tank appropriate behaviors, he has taught us how to continue to reinforce these behaviors going forward. Within the first week we were seeing improvements, and our friends and family have noticed too as Tank no longer acts completely wild when someone comes over. Most importantly, there haven't been any more fights since Tank began his training and we now have the skills to help maintain a peaceful household. This experience has taught us “good dogs” aren’t born, they’re made. Dan is a consummate professional and is a master at his craft!

We were in quite a pickle with our wonder-Aussie pup who was showing increased levels of reactivity with people and other dogs. Once being able to take her into PetsMart with no drama, as she approached her first birthday, the chaos escalated and she was unable to participate in agility classes, ride in the car quietly or even step out for an evening walk. Dan coached us (humans) from a distance that Dolly would tolerate; we began the long journey of building trust. Basically, we needed to convey to Dolly, “Hey, I’ve got your back and those things that seem so scary now will become so NOT a big deal.” Having read a lot about dog training and reactivity, we came into the intense training with Dan having quite a bit of knowledge and understanding that her reactivity is fear-based. What we needed was his educated assessment of our current state and the building blocks for attaining a calmer emotional state. We have so much gratitude for this week of work and are so energized to carry forward. Thank you, Dan!!! We’ll be in touch.
