Curated Canines Dog Training

As a mom to two adorable pups, Reinhardt and our new baby Winston, moving to Oregon was a big adventure for us! Winston was quite the handful at first, but then we found Kylah at Curated Canines, and wow! After just a few training sessions, both our boys are so well-behaved—Winston might even be better behaved than Reinhardt now! Kylah has been absolutely amazing! She answered all my questions over text and gave us follow-up handler training. We've also boarded our dogs with her, and they were so happy! Reinhardt was wagging his tail so much when we pulled up to her place—it made my heart melt! I can't recommend Curated Canines enough! We're so grateful to have found someone who cares for our fur babies as much as we do! Thank you, Kylah! 💕

We recently moved up to Oregon and, after adopting a new pup who was initially a handful, we found Kylah and Curated Canines. After several training sessions with her, both our dogs are now extremely well-behaved. In fact, our new addition to the family, Winston, is arguably more well-behaved than our older dog, Reinhardt—thanks to Kylah’s expert training. Kylah has been incredibly helpful, thoroughly answering any questions we’ve had over text and providing follow-up handler training. She’s super communicative and goes above and beyond to ensure we feel supported even after the training sessions. We’ve also boarded our dogs with her, and we couldn’t be happier. They receive so much attention, love, and playtime. Our car was practically shaking with Reinhardt’s tail wags when we drove up to their property to drop them off! It’s such a relief to know they’re in such good hands and are treated with the same level of care they’d get at home. Reinhardt and Winston will certainly be back. It’s an absolute relief to know they love Curated Canines.

Wow! Meredith is a fantastic dog trainer. We are so impressed with her board and train program and what she has taught our dog (and us)! Our dog, Elmo, was previously trained in obedience and had some early skills as a therapy or service dog, however, we did not keep up on these. We brought Elmo to Meredith for two weeks and he is like a new, better version of himself! At every meeting, Meredith took time to ask about our goals with Elmo and she explained the training so we understood. We practiced with Elmo before bringing him home. Meredith’s easy and open manner makes the whole process very comfortable. The idea of the follow-up meetings to work on specific things that matter most to us is terrific. It was so great to see Elmo greet Meredith when she arrived at our house. She truly loves dogs. She also offered some suggestions for our other two small dogs. We will keep reaching out to Meredith for future dog training and can’t say enough good things about her!

Teddy spent two weeks at board and train with Kylah in March. He was a handful pulling on his leash, jumping on people, biting and putting everything in his mouth - remotes, sock, shoes, toilet paper, plants. I thought I might have to rehome him after he pulled me to the ground twice hurting both my knees and shoulder. He now heels when we walk and stops before we cross a street. He parks himself on a cot in the living room when the door bell rings, when I am eating, or when he is waiting to be fed. He will stay until I release him. I am able to take him hiking and he has excellent recall off leash. In September Teddy returned for a swim lesson with Kylah. I think the before and after pictures of Teddy speak for themselves and the joy I experience with Teddy on a daily basis is priceless.
