Curated Canines Dog Training

06/2025 I want to update this because we got a new puppy and went through puppy training with Curated Canines again. I cannot recommend them enough!!!! Our puppy is fun and cute and just a little mischievous, so curated canines helped us lean into her big personality and teach her skills to keep her safe. After two weeks of boosted and train, she is less reactive with other dogs, walks incredibly well on a leash, and listens to over 5 commands. We will use curated canines for every dog we got! — Best training program in the Portland area! I can’t recommend this place enough. Meredith and Kylah are so good at their jobs. You can tell they eat sleep and breathe dog training. Our little guy went into the board and train program as a pretty anxious dude after surviving a traumatic car accident. He emerged a new dog. He is so confident and sure of himself now and trusts us to guide him. We love the hybrid style of training because we were able to train our pup in environments that he frequents. We can’t thank CC enough and are excited to use them for all dogs we have in the future. I attached photos of him heeling in public, on “place” at home, and not chasing the cat! Worth every penny!!!!

We had an amazing experience with Curated Canines! Our 2-year-old German Shepherd, Willow, recently completed their board and train program to work on her leash pulling and reactivity toward other dogs—and the transformation has been incredible. Before training, Willow was great at following commands inside the house, but the moment we stepped outside? It was a different story—she’d ignore us completely, and walks (especially with our three kids) felt overwhelming. We always dreamed of giving Willow a full, adventurous life, but it just didn’t feel possible with the stress of managing her behavior in public. Thanks to Curated Canines and our wonderful trainer Kylah, that dream is now our reality! Kylah was knowledgeable, supportive, and really took the time to tailor Willow’s training to our lifestyle. The follow-up sessions—one in-home and one out and about—were exactly what we needed to feel confident and set up for success. During Willow’s board and train, they sent us regular video and picture updates so we could see how she was doing—and seeing our sweet girl in action gave us so much peace of mind. Willow is now a totally different dog in the best way—responsive, focused, and a joy to walk. I can confidently take her (and our three kids!) out without feeling overwhelmed. She no longer fence fights in our backyard or jumps on house guests, which has been such a relief and a huge improvement in our day-to-day life. We’re so excited to explore the world with her by our side. You can tell Curated Canines truly cares about helping dogs and their humans thrive.
