Curly's Top Dog

Just reflecting on my experience with Curly’s Top Dog experience over the past couple of weeks. Really, there are no words for the thankfulness I feel. I searched and researched after Bella’s board and train to find help because I did not receive the help I needed to continue training Bella. She had the basics but without guidance, I found YouTube videos and tried on my own to continued training. After a year of training everyday, I felt helpless and alone. My 90 year old mom at my house and I was so very worried. So, I found Curly’s Top Dog training. I thought it was just for hunting dogs and too far out in West Monroe. Come to find out, right off I-20 and easy access. Also, trained pet dogs! I was contacted by Sam immediately with a brief descriptions of my issues per email. Sam met with Bella and I to see the facility. Sam is beyond amazing! The experience started with an assessment with Bella, temperament testing, and discussion about my experience and needs for Bella. Sam actually asked me what my needs and goals were for Bella and education for me! What?! So the journey began. Our goals changed daily and weekly to educate me on how to solidify Bella in her training. So 2-3 times a week Bella would go to the daycare/ training program around my schedule! This training accommodated every part imaginable that could be simulated at Curly’s Top Dog representing my home, yard and anywhere and everywhere I could take Bella. Also, safe play with other dogs and people! I cannot begin to express the change in my education and Bella’s amazing transformation. I have practiced what Sam has taught us every day. I ask questions, sent texts, calls, videos and pictures with immediate response. I put in the work! Bella and I have developed the most amazing relationship with Sam that will last for ever! I know and feel she loves Bella as much as I love her. Sam will show me daily exactly what she teaches Bella, so that I am able to take the knowledge home. Sam teaches me how to put in the work with Bella. Now, I have the most well rounded dog for my needs on the planet! After weeks of consistency, this Easter weekend solidified all the training, education(for Bella and especially me) and time that Sam at Curly’s Top Dog accomplished for MY particular situation with Bella. We had family and friends at my home, food, birthday celebration, Easter celebration. Everyone expressed what a joy it was to be around a dog (Bella) with perfect manners and behavioral skills, all while keeping Bella’s goofy , funny , sweet personality. Even while we were eating Easter dinner at the table Bella was calm and in place. I am beyond thankful! We love our experience and will continue to maintain our forever relationship with Sam and Curly’s Top Dog. Just no words!
