D&C Dog Training

Ms Brenda spent 2 weeks at day training with D&C, and it was such a phenomenal experience. She spent most of her time with Jake and Christina and they were so incredible with her!!! Brenda would lose her mind when we turned onto their road and as soon as she saw either one she couldn't care less about me lol. I would absolutely recommend and will bring her back again when she's a little bit older...she was only 6 months old and did such a great job with her!!!

We cannot recommend D&C Dog Training enough - Christina is truly exceptional at what she does. I recently moved from California to Tennessee with my two dogs to move in with my boyfriend, who has three dogs of his own. As you can imagine, integrating five dogs into one home felt overwhelming, and we wanted to make sure we handled it the right way from the start. Before my move, we met with Christina to talk through logistics and best practices, and her knowledge, thoughtfulness, and confidence immediately put us at ease. Christina and Jake worked with all five of our dogs together on neutral territory, and the results have been incredible. The dogs have now been home together for a week, and it has honestly been such a relief to see them all getting along so well. There have been minimal issues or aggression, zero territorial behavior, no food aggression, and they are all coexisting beautifully. During the month that the dogs were training together, Christina had us visit weekly to observe their behavior around us and proactively address any potential issues. One moment that really stood out was when she suggested doing a training session with all of us sitting on a couch together to simulate real-life scenarios like relaxing and watching TV. That level of intentionality and attention to real-world dynamics made such a difference. Christina & Jake’s care, expertise, and thoughtful step-by-step approach made what could have been a very stressful transition feel smooth and successful. We are so grateful for their support and highly recommend D&C Dog Training to anyone looking for truly top-tier dog training and behavioral integration.

I cannot say enough good things about D and C Training. I brought my two German Shepherd puppies for their two-week day training program honestly not expecting miracles… but Christina and Jacob absolutely blew me away. By the end of just one week, my boys came home like completely different dogs. The improvement in their behavior, focus, and overall manners was shocking in the best possible way. I truly did not think this level of progress was possible in such a short amount of time, especially with two high-energy GSD puppies. Christina and Jacob are clearly passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient. They don’t just train dogs — they build confidence and understanding, and it shows in the results. My puppies are happier, calmer, and so much easier to work with now, and I feel far more confident as an owner because of what they taught them (and me!). If you are even considering training for your dog, stop looking and book. I cannot recommend them enough. They exceeded every expectation I had and then some!

We signed our dog up for the basic 8 week course. Jake was really knowledgeable and had a very calm demeanor with our dog who is part wolf and husky, and if you know huskies, they are escape artists. We don’t have to worry about him taking of anymore. Not only does my dog benefit from this but so did my husband and I. He helped us understand the dogs psychology when going through the motions. Needless to say, our dog has been in public settings and everyone always says how well behaved he is. This school is witty every penny.
