D.O.G. of Jax

I haven’t taken any of the classes yet! I am leaving a review on the first experience with this group and will update accordingly. I called several places for training of my new GSD 13 week old puppy. They were mostly canned responses that were meh at best. I need a support animal and have lots of questions. When I spoke to the young lady, forgot your name so sorry, she was amazing!! Spent 23 mins I think on the phone with her. I have bad anxiety, depression and social anxiety. She took the time to explain EVERYTHING she could in that time. Made me feel very comfortable and got me signed up for the late July class!!! So impressed so far, very excited to start. Will update after the class...I’m thinking it’s gonna be a great one :)))

Anne and her team have helped me so much in learning how to help my German shepherd with his whining and helping me gain his attention through fun interactive classes ! The thing is that this is a training place to grow along side your dog ! Basic OB class really helped me gain a better understanding of my dog thanks to Anne's knowledge and ability. After that I had even more opportunities to grow through trick dog and advanced obedience classes. I would definitely recommend Anne and her facility to anyone looking for basic to advanced classes to help build a better relationship with your dog. I haven't see a dog she cant help!!

Posting under my husband’s account. I, Kathy Sims, have been involved in taking two basic obedience classes with my corgi puppy and most recently participated with her to earn her canine good citizen dog! Having had a lifetime history of owning and training show dogs, and now quality “pet” dogs, I can say that Anne Baxter (D.O.G of Jax) is VERY knowledgeable regarding dog behaviors. She is so knowledgeable and caring about the all the dogs in her care and in her classes. The dogs all LOVE her!!!!!I will continue to take more classes with her and highly recommend D.O.G. Of Jax for board and train or classes to take with your dog.I keep reviewing additional upcoming dog training classes to take with Anne. My dogs love the training, and I love the interaction with the trainers and fellow participants. I particularly love that my dogs are well behaved and listen to me. A well behaved dog is a happier dog, and the dog’s owner is a happy person!!!!

Just before our move to Jacksonville last year I got a German Shepherd puppy (Francis). Not my first GSD but definitely my most challenging I knew when he insisted on bringing his red light saber on our walks, I needed to up my game and find a trainer ASAP. I knew he had limitless potential but I was clueless on what to do. After extensive research I found DOG of JAX and Anne who in a nutshell is the Jedi master of dog training!!! what ever your situation with your dog she has the knowledge and expertise to get the results you’ve always wanted. I started with private lessons which were invaluable for Francis and especially for me. We’ve also completed several groups classes. Francis and I go everywhere together and are always looking for more challenges to take on. I highly recommend DOG of JAX!!!

Anne and Pat were simply wonderful working with us on ways to deal with some unpleasant dog behaviors. They explained what types of things were leading to the problems, helped us to understand how the dog thinks and responds, and steps for us to take to improve the issues. Anne worked with our dog and taught us techniques to take home and start on right away. We got a lot out of the private session and are looking forward to the weekly classes. Thanks so much!!
