Dakotah's Doggy Daycare Training Center

Love that I have someplace local to take my dogs. Knox is reactive, but not necessarily aggressive. I've been told in the past that "he doesn't know how to speak dog." It was very validating to have Heidi evaluate Knox and see that he is reactive, but just truly curious in what situations are. Because of his baying it can been intimidating/overwhelming for others who don't know his breed. I have been terrified to take him to the vet, groomer or even on a walk because my fear of him even seeing another dog and "throwing a tantrum" was so high. We have been working with Heidi in the training center. He has come very far, especially when the first session he barked at a TOY dog in the room for at least 30 minutes. Now, we are slowly introducing new dogs in the room! 🎉 I will continue to work with Heidi because Knox has grown so much and we never thought it was possible. It feels so wonderful to know that I can handle "a situation" with Knox, and he does much better at home seeing/hearing dogs too. Overall, we are so happy that Knox has grown so much due to training with Heidi. We are excited to keep building that relationship with him too. I also want to mention that the dog daycare staff is AMAZING TOO! This is at a separate building nearby but they take such good care of my Moose. ❤ Thank you Dakotah's!
