Dances with Dogs

We have an excitable, reactive dog who is full of energy and can be hard to handle. She was no problem for Brittany, who is a consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our dog loves her. After working with Dances with Dogs, our dog can now walk calmly on a loose leash and control herself when meeting other dogs. She is much more obedient and responsive. Brittany has helped us over a series of training sessions and training walks that accommodated our schedule and at a reasonable price. We are very happy with the service and will continue to work with Brittany as we have training needs.

We hired Brittany as soon as we got a new puppy. Brittany was absolutely excellent with our miniature dachsund -- who at the time was just learning how to be in the human world and adjust to her new home. Brittany came 2-3 times a week for training sessions with our puppy for about 2 months and was excellent in helping us advance her skills in a short amount of time. Not only did Brittany help teach important cues like focus, heel, place and more, she provided a quality education for my husband and I as we learned the best approaches to train our puppy outside of these sessions. She took time to thoroughly understand our goals, concerns and provided ample guidance and advice both in person during sessions , and via email between sessions. In addition, she sent us progress updates and helpful resources to match our goals. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Brittany if you are looking for help in training your dog for any reason and want to do so through positive reinforcement! 5 stars all around and more if i could give more!

Brittany was so helpful with both our dogs, particularly our sweet but very reactive chihuahua mix. We loved the day training option since it allowed them to get more attention and make faster progress than we would have otherwise been able to. Brittany was super reliable and communicative and always willing to work through options that fit with our lifestyle/home setup. We loved working with her and will continue to turn to her when we need help with the pups. Highly recommend!
