Dancin’ Woofs

I am a local veterinarian, and I took my puppy to Dancin' Woofs puppy classes and basic companionship classes. He's also been doing doggy daycare one day a week, which he LOVES. (A vet friend used them and recommended them to me, and I'd also heard only good things from our clients who'd used them.) Socialization in a dog's first few weeks of life is PARAMOUNT to ending up with a social, well-rounded dog. Socialization is as important to me as vaccinations and vet visits. My puppy was definitely a little nervous and reactive when we first got him at 12 weeks. I have no doubt that he would have ended up being dog aggressive had we not worked extensively with Dancin' Woofs, starting as soon as we got him. He now LOVES other dogs and RUNS into doggy daycare. They definitely helped him overcome his fears and become the best version of himself. With all of the separation anxiety dogs vets are seeing now after everyone got pandemic puppies with owners who worked from home, I also think doggy daycare is an excellent way for dogs to get accustomed to being away from their owners. While I'd recommend Dancin' Woofs for ALL ages of dogs, I think the money you spend on classes and daycare in their formative few weeks/months is one of the best investments you can make in your dog and will decrease the chance of future, oftentimes irreversible, behavior problems. The training classes were great, and Kristin, etc were very knowledgable about dog behavior and training. Highly recommend! Nothing but good things to say about them. :)

I took Dancin' Woofs Puppy Training and Beginner Training classes with my dog, Honey Bear. We learned so much, and the puppy training course was so important in helping socialize her, especially during a pandemic! Now she's the sweetest little dog. Honey also went to Dancin' Woofs every week for doggy daycare and always had so much fun! This is truly the best group of people and take such good care of your pup. I've also boarded here a few times and always knew my dog was being well taken care of!
