I've raised and shown dogs for over 40 years and was smug about what I knew about Dogs. Dan came in and within the first session taught my anxious terrier an exercise that allows her to be with me but still, and happy. He also taught ME what I was doing that was exacerbating the problem! And was able to teach me how to get her to quit yelling when I was making her food. Worth twice what I paid him

Dan is amazing! The amount of valuable information he was able to provide in regards to training and behavior was outstanding. Our boxer/ am staff puppy Lyla, would nip and constantly try to assert dominance over us and our kids. After just the first session with Dan we saw a change in Lyla for the better. Dan also helped us with leash training and no pull options , recall and all the basic commands and also how to understand Lyla and what she needed to be her best self. He was always available if we had a question and left us with the proper tools to continue the training on our own. Thanks, Dan!!

I can't thank Dan enough! We adopted a husky mix and an American Pitbull Terrier at the beginning of September 2024. Hildy, our Husky had minimal training and Gracie, our Pitbull had no training. We had issues with knowing how to calm them when they were over excited, not pulling on the leash, recall, etc. With Dan's assistance, we've learned mistakes that we were making + best ways to work with the girls to make them well-mannered members of our family.

I hired Dan a few weeks ago for my 10-year-old rescue dog, Maggie. In addition to the 4 pack series, I enlisted his help for 2 more sessions. I learned skills that I continue to use and which have made me a better dog handler and my dog, Maggie, a better companion. Dan is great to work with and is not a "clock watcher". If for some reason your session was cut short, or interrupted, he ensures that you get your full time. In addition, Dan makes himself available by text and phone at all times and encourages you to call with questions or concerns. Although he worked with my dog, it was by means of teaching me what to do. If you're looking for a dog "trainer" who will use the sessions to train your dog in the conventional manner and walk away, Dan is not for you. Dan is about teaching you what to do. If you wish to learn skills that will enable you to work with your dog and all dogs in the future, Dan's the "trainer" for you. Give him a call! 👍

i’d love to call dan a miracle worker but he’s firm on letting you know that 90% of the work begins and ends with you, the dog owner. we called dan because we have an anxious pup who did not do well with strangers. from the first meeting he wowed us with how quickly he pinpointed her anxiety and showed us how to work with (not against!) her in these situations. every session was professional, enlightening and most importantly, transformative with his help. i could not recommend him enough!!!
