I really enjoyed Joy as my dog trainer. The very first day she just observed my dog. Every week was an improvement. We hit a roadblock with training and she moved right through it. Sometimes I had to remind her to send the details of that weeks notes, but it didn’t bother me. She is a busy woman. When I am finished with school and get another dog, I will be using her again. I thought the money was worth it. She gave me the tools I needed to help my dog gain the confidence he needed. After the initial cost, it is much cheaper to add 4 week sessions. I only chose to stop training because my pup is old. I highly recommend her. Her techniques work if you do the work! She gives you time to reschedule sessions and is understanding. A sweet person all around!!

When we first started our training journey my 3 yr old puppy mill rescue had no trust in people she was so fearful of movements..loud sounds.. she laid in her bed all day and wasn't house trained. I felt so helpless. Joy initially came to our home for training sessions. The issues we had were far beyond learning to sit or stay (though she does that now too) they were behavioral from abuse and to see the change in Shylah melts my heart. Today she approaches people and takes a treat. Appreciates scratches behind her ears. Plays with her dog puzzles. Runs at the dog park and even wags her tail! Things people may take for granted as normal behaviour that I didn't think Shylah would ever enjoy. Highly recommend Danx To The Rescue.. you will forever be a part of our rescue success story.

Danx rescue helped us adopt our fur baby Marauder (formerly known as Bam-Bam). She was so great getting back to us when we filled out the online application. He was a healthy puppy and had been cared for by a vet so we did not have to be concerned about any of that! Joy is an absolutely send person to work with!
