DareDevil Dog Training

I cannot recommend DareDevil Training enough! We have a 1-year-old teacup Goldendoodle who was having resource guarding and handling sensitivity problems. We sent her to the 3-week behavioral program with Jess and are extremely pleased with the results so far. Jess was communicative during the entire process and really focused on the areas our dog needed. She has been home for the last few days, and we are already seeing the results. Jess was very good at communicating our at-home training program, which is structured in a way that makes it easy to follow with our lifestyle and maintain. We are excited to continue with our follow-up lessons and see the results continue to develop. It is also great because they will board your dog when you go away after you complete your program. This is a fantastic offering if you are dealing with a dog that may have aggression issues, making it difficult to send them to a regular kennel. We looked at about 10 board-and-train programs before choosing DareDevil, and they were by far the best option. If you have behavioral problems with your dog, I would recommend them 10/10. It is money very well spent!

If you just got a puppy, this is the place to take them to! I did so much research on the best-rated schools in town and so glad I decided to go with DareDevil for Khloe’s puppy program. If you live in Philly and want a well-socialized city dog, look no further. I was stressed and facing puppy blues when I got my 11 week old dog as she had zoomies constantly, tested our boundaries, kept trying to chew things up, barked all the time and at everything, and was scared about her crate door closing. I literally couldn’t sleep till midnight, leave her home alone, take her anywhere in an uber or sit outside without her overstimulated/barking. Alyssa did a free intro zoom call to discuss my training goals and also provide training skills to start with Khloe without pressuring me to bring my puppy in for any paid programs. I was also able to learn my own training mistakes (such as allowing on-leash greetings/petting that was aggravating Khloe’s bad behavior). I decided to do the board & train 6 day program and was so impressed by how Khloe came back. After just 6 days she was crate, potty, and playpen trained and was much better able to settle down with a HUGE reduction in barking + a whole lot of commands/skills learned. There was also 2 follow up in-home lessons that really helped especially to reinforce what she learned and to deal with any training regression along the way. Obviously there has been (mostly) ups and downs in behavior but honestly really manageable for me to correct them since Khloe went for her program. Not only is my puppy happier but I am too — I really felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders as I now have a good routine with her, and time for myself knowing she can settle down on her own. Huge kudos to Alyssa & Team, for their work ethic, dedication, and setting Khloe up for success (and giving my peace of mind back) !

Alyssa was fantastic. She gave me a free consultation to learn about me and my dog and what our situation was. Afterwards she paired me with an available trainer to work with us in private lessons on the specific issues we were having. Sami is still my trainer, and she is wonderful. So knowledgeable and thorough. After a each session, she provides a very thorough lesson plan based on that day's topics and our goals, with detailed instructions and recommendations regarding schedule changes, exercises and games we can do, equipment/tools we may want to get, etc. The program is worth every penny, my border collie Ripley is so much more well behaved, and she is finally mastering how to relax in the house and turn off that motor with that endless border collie energy lol. 😆🐶

As first time puppy parents, the decision for my wife and I to enroll our puppy in the 6-day board and train program was one of the best decisions we’ve made as a pet parent. Our puppy’s trainer, Alyssa, was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient and caring towards our little guy. Each day, we received updates on our puppy's progress, which reassured us that he was in good hands. By the end of the program, our puppy came back home with improved obedience skills and a newfound confidence. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to give their pup a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning and companionship.
