Dave's STL K-9 Dog Trainers

Before our 3 week training with Dave, our pup who we had gotten from a shelter was extremely reactive to dogs when on walks to the point we avoided taking her places as we knew we wouldn’t be able to control her and would risk her becoming aggressive with us. After her 3 week training, she is a brand new pup with a solid basis of commands she knows to follow regardless of the situation! While some reactivity is still present we are in complete control of her and are able to walk her now with just a sprenger collar. She now enjoys passing by dogs on hiking trails and goes everywhere with us. Dave changed her life, to say the least. Dave and his staff did a wonderful job with our dog and I would recommend him for any issues your dog may be experiencing.

I started taking my pup to Dave's since he was 14 weeks old. He is now 8 months. We did the puppy class, day train, and are now doing group class once a week. Dave and Andrew have made the experience of raising a puppy MUCH more enjoyable. Their approach is training is completely balanced. With classes, take home lessons and advice, I have ended up with a well behaved, well rounded pup, even through fear and rebellion phases. I couldn't imagine doing it without their help and advice. My absolute favorite part of Dave's style is the fact that he also emphasizes training the owner. They really focus on teaching you how to handle, reward, correct and the importance of timing. It has made me more confident as an owner and has definitely strengthened my bond with my pup. My pup goes just about everywhere with me and keeping up the training has definitely been rewarding for us both. We plan on sticking to the group classes for a very long time. Thanks again Dave!
