Dean's List K9 Training LLC

We had six sessions over an eight week period with our 16-17 month old Golden Retriever. Prior to the training, our girl would become overly excited when greeting friends. She did not listen and would bolt out the door at every opportunity. She pulled so hard on her leash during walks that it hurt to walk her. We hesitated having friends over as she would not settle and jump on them continuously. After the training, she is able to manage her emotions, going to “place” on command, walk with heel and loose leash walk without pulling. She auto sits when we stop and refrains from pulling when presented with distractions. We feel we have gotten our life back thanks to Alena for her positive training and feedback. She knew how to model the correct behaviors and provide us feedback that was affirming and encouraging. WE would definitely recommend Dean’s List K9 training.

Savannah was absolutely amazing with our two dogs! She reads each dog’s personality and diagnoses what they each needed to be successful. Our older one had been trained before (and was good 80% of the time) but he was so confident & chill he didn’t always keep his “listening ears on” or would slyly misbehave - he would do what we ask for a short time & then he would return to HIS agenda. Honestly, it was driving us crazy. After just 2 weeks, he has a much, much improved level of self-control & follows our directions to a T!😘 Our younger dog was experiencing some reactivity issues when we passed other dogs on a walk. Savannah patiently trained her to pass other dogs & keep her cool even in highly distracting settings. This new mindset of our younger dog has been HUGE & is life-changing for us! As a family, we enjoy being outside with our two dogs on neighborhood trail walks, WNC hikes or relaxing by the lake! Savannah is a top notch trainer - one who we purposefully sought out to work with (even though we live 7 hours away!) because we had followed her on Instagram for 18 months & saw her doing so much exposure/conditioning work in public settings with the dogs she was training. We knew our younger dog would absolutely benefit from going outside & passing as many dogs as she could while at her board & train. Savannah took our dogs *beyond* all our expectations & gave us back the dogs of our dreams! 💕 Worth every penny!!! 💯 We highly recommend Dean’s List K9 Training!

We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Alena! She worked with our two French Bulldogs, Pearl and Boudreaux, and the results were incredible. Not only did she help train them with patience and expertise, but she also taught us how to better understand and work with them.
