We had an incredible experience training our golden retriever puppy, Mia, with Rachel at Dean’s List K9. In just four sessions, Mia has become so much more composed and manageable. She now holds a solid “place” command for long periods, has great threshold manners, walks are significantly smoother, and her recall has improved so much that we’re starting to lay the groundwork for off-leash work. Rachel was professional, communicative, and really tailored the training to our specific goals—nothing cookie cutter about it. She was also super flexible with scheduling, which was a huge help given our unpredictable hospital hours. One of the most valuable things she did was help us understand the difference between normal puppy behavior and what we could actually hold Mia accountable for—it’s been a total game-changer for both her progress and our sanity. We’re so grateful for the results so far and can’t wait to continue working with Rachel. Highly recommend Dean’s List K9!

We signed our 3 year old American Bully, Tyson, for the two week Board and Train Program with Savannah. Prior to this program, we couldn't walk Tyson. Tyson would bite the leash and pull - he is 65 pounds and is real hyper and too happy. During the board and train - Savannah posted her training sessions on social media. We were able to see how she worked with him on certain aspects of Tyson's training. Savannah was always easy to get a hold of via phone and messaging. Her program included the collar, muzzle, and follow up training sessions. When Savannah brought him back to our home, we immediately noticed a drastic change in his demeanor and attitude. Tyson still needs to be worked with so the training is not over but Savannah gave us the tools and guidance to get him to 100%. We are very happy with the results and it brings a tear to my eye that we can walk Tyson on the leash now. We highly recommend this company for dog training.

Rachel from Dean's List K9 Training didn't just train our dog; she transformed our entire family dynamic. We adopted S'mores last September from a local animal rescue, but after a few weeks, he started to resource guard me, become hostile towards my wife, and aggressively eat our other dogs' food. We were at our breaking point when he began biting us when we tried putting on his leash. Our neighbors highly recommended Dean's List K9 Training and we were put in contact with Rachel for in-person Behavior Modification training. Rachel gave us techniques that were crucial in managing S'mores' resource guarding. She also taught us how to anticipate and prevent aggressive outbursts. Rachel's patience and understanding were invaluable. In just a few sessions, we saw a dramatic decrease in his aggressive behavior. S'mores went from an uncontrollable fur missile to a lovable lap dog. We wholeheartedly recommend Rachel and Dean's List K9 Training to anyone struggling with their dog's behavior. Thank you, Rachel and thank you, Dean's List K9 Training for everything.

Arlo, though always a friendly and lovable pup on all occasions, was being a wild and mischievous boy prior to Dean’s List K9 training. Savannah did an amazing job with Arlo and was very professional in every way! She was not only punctual and communicative, but really produced results! When Arlo was dropped off on his first day of his two week board and train, I was concerned just like any pet parent would be. How would he adjust? Will he be receptive to the teacher? All of my worries were soon addressed as I viewed the daily Instagram videos posted on the work Savannah was doing with him. Not only does Savannah really teach the skills necessary for any dog to be better when receiving commands or instruction, she also works with us humans on how we can get better results from our own dogs once training is complete. She sincerely wants each of her furry students to succeed in life and be better members of their respective families! We also have had Savannah board Arlo a couple of nights when we went out of town and Arlo was very happy in her care! Thank you Dean’s List K9!
