Michael at Delta K9 Training Services has been a blessing for my energetic lab, River and myself. Rivers excitement spilled over into pulling, jumping, poor impulse control and dog reactivity. Michael is patient, clear, consistent and knowledgeable and his calm and confident leadership has made an incredible difference in a very short timeframe. Just as important, Michael helped me personally. After a devastating dog attack that injured my left hand, I am very anxious and fearful around other dogs. On top of that, my left hand disability limits what I can do with a leash, collar, and treats. Michael never made that feel like a problem. He adapted techniques so I could train safely and effectively with one stronger hand, never rushed me, and is rebuilding my confidence as a handler. That patience and awareness made all the difference. I can’t recommend him enough, he is kind, professional, results oriented and genuinely cares about both dog and owner and looking forward to continuing to work together, thank you so very much.

The more experienced members willingly mentor and encourage newcomers, creating an environment where everyone supports each other’s journey. Before long, it becomes more than just dog training—it becomes part of your life. As the community grows, you find yourself surrounded by people who genuinely want to help you and your dog succeed, whatever your goals may be. You might join simply to work on basic obedience, only to discover that tracking is incredibly rewarding for both you and your dog. Then you try another activity, and another. Before you know it… you never leave. Kim, Alexis, Mike and the rest of the crew at Delta are the best! Me and my wife got our first working type dog - a Czech shepherd who ended up being very reactive towards people and dogs. Loki is still a work in progress but it’s only been a few short months of training and he’s come such a long way! Night and day difference to say the least. We used to not be able to have people over and now we have people over every single weekend. Loki just passed his obedience test (place, 11 steps of heeling, etc..) and is very good around other people. Now we’re going to be taking the training outside and step it up a notch. Eventually getting into some tracking which we’re looking forward to. If you’re looking for some of the best dog trainers out there then call Delta!
