Denver Dream Dog

We left our dog with Carie during spring break for 2 week board and train and I must say despite the good reviews our experience was awful. In my opinion there were way too many dogs at once. We didn't receive almost any updates throughout the 2 week period. When i picked up Sasha at the end of the two week training she was 5 pounds lighter. She was really sick, threw up and had diarrhea for two days. On top of that she was scared of my husband for the first few days, skittish and afraid. She finally started to trust him again and warmed up to him but that took a lot of love and patience on his side. He is her favorite human at our house, not sure what happened to her during the boarding but something definitely was off. On top of everything, Sasha did not learn a thing. She still pulls on a leash, that was our number 1 thing we wanted addressed. When off leash she still doesn't come when called, number 2 on our list. For the amount of money we paid it was a really disappointing experience. Definitely we are not going back there.

We had the pleasure of working with Dan and Holly at Denver Dream Dog back in September for board and train services for our new golden pup, Charlie. Charlie not only had a ball, he came back to us with the best foundation of knowledge and continues to be such a well-rounded pup! We love the training videos we received via YouTube and continue to reference for refreshers from time to time. Highly recommend Denver Dream Dog for training!

I never write reviews, but our experience with Denver Dream Dog was too good to not write one! Carie and Karen are amazing, the instant you meet them, you can tell that these people know dogs and know them very well. We brought our 10 week old puppy for his first day of daycare and he loved it! He was able to safley meet lots of other doggos and experience much more than we could provide for him given his age. He clearly had an awesome time and made alot of new friends! Denver dream dog is the place to go, if you are at all hesitant, I urge you to have your pup attend one session and make your decision from there, you won't regret it!

10000%, this is the place to go. Look no further! We had such an incredible experience with Carie at Denver Dream Dog. You can tell right away that she has love for your dog and has the care to help improve your pets day-to-day, which in return, improves yours! Before beginning training, Carie helped me figure out which services would be most effective for our 1yr old pup, Zeppelin. She was upfront and honest about the things she realistically can help with vs. things that we will need to work on at home, and gave advice. We decided on a 2 week board & train program which worked out amazing for my busy schedule. We provided a list of our concerns and to say she did an IMPECCABLE job would be an understatement. She helped with loose leash walking, jumping on people, self-calming, come when called, and much more. Just as Denver Dream Dog was highly recommended to me, I’ll be highly recommending Carie’s services to anyone I possibly can. I had been looking for the best board & train place and am so happy we found Carie as she has changed our lives for sure. We will return for any future training/boarding needs.

Holly responded within 24 hours of my contact email, but their responsiveness is not even the most impressive thing. My dog went to Board and Train with Denver Dream Dog for two weeks and they did a great job with her! Dan not only taught Poppy, but when I picked her up he taught me her cues, and also keep up her training up, and answered every one of my questions. They also sent videos of her every few days so I could check in on my girl. Poppy knows good behavior, and has gained a lot of emotional intelligence as well, including how to relax around a lot of distractions. She's a big dog so jumping on people was an issue but now she is well on her way to being calm around visitors! She was taught well and has learned well so I don't think we'll need any refreshers, but if I did I would 100% take her back to Denver Dream Dog.
