Dewayne The Dog Guy

Dewayne changed our family forever with Leo our first German Shepard. We didn’t know what to expect from Leo or a trainer. Let me tell you my experience and expectations were blown away. Not only were we welcomed into Dewaynes family he made multiple house calls to our blended modern family. Dewayne is a gentle soul who taught our kids and this anxiety ridden mom just how to bond with Leo. He is amazing and has always been there for us with any questions we have as we navigate through our crazy doggie questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and calming to both myself and Leo. We all are so grateful for his kindness and patience and especially his gift to train a gentle giant with 5 simple commands. He is awesome 👏 and best around and highly recommend!!!

Dewayne worked miracles for our Gunner! He was an anxious, aggressive, wild puppy. And WE had no idea how to care for him. We were at a breaking point and about to re-home him when we found Dewayne. One of our biggest fears was having him work with a trainer that would totally break his spirit and we would get back this timid, submissive dog. We loved Gunner and his spirit but we needed to be able to control him so that he and we could enjoy each other. Gunner spent 3 weeks working with Dewayne full time. When we picked him up at the end of the 3 weeks, Gunner was almost like a new dog. He was still very much the feisty puppy we left, but he was now responsive to commands and generally a happier dog. Dewayne worked with him to break his will but left every bit of his wonderful spirit in place. Then it was our turn- Dewayne was patient with us as we learned how to care for Gunner’s new role in house and meet his needs so that he could continue with his training. We now have a wonderful, responsive, spirited dog that is able to enjoy traveling with us and going on lots of adventures. We only stopped training with Dewayne because he moved out of our area. We can’t recommend him enough:)
