Dewayne The Dog Guy

Dewayne worked wonders with my dog, who was always on edge and ready to attack anything, anyone, and any dog that came near that he didn’t know. He was scared (which he showed with aggression, even to a bag of leaves on the road bc that didn’t make sense to him). He’d pull, lunge, snap with little growl for warning. It was difficult to handle my problematic behavior dog, especially having never had a dog with these issues before. The first time I took Bentley to Dwayne was for the 3 week training and boarding. I was in awe of how within minutes Dwayne had Bentley on leash and laying at his feet (although unhappily but calm without continued snapping). It was the fastest I had ever seen Bentley settle. He was even able to slowly lean down and pet him. He listened to Bentleys warning after that pet with a soft low growl, but minutes later he was able to do a second pet. I knew we were in the right place. I will never forget it. It’s not something anyone had ever been able to do before. 3 weeks later I had a dog that more often reflected the dog I knew and loved (he was comfortable in more settings than ever before, like walks), goofy and more confident, all through the tools and communication Dewayne gave us. Dwayne has taught me so many things, and he came to my house twice after the 3 weeks to help with the transition to home (and I don’t live that close). Dewayne and his family have become part of me and bentleys family. I love being able to board Bentley with them, knowing he gets love and the right kind of attention my difficult boy needs. Bentley even gets to play with his dogs now, in a safe controlled setting, which is something I never thought Bentley would get again. Dewayne has always been available to me for questions and advice, and I know he loves Bentley and wants the best for both us. 1000% recommend him for all your doggy needs. We can’t say enough positive things about Dewayne! Dewayne came highly recommended from another client of his who raved about how much he helped their pups. Our Charley girl was testing every limit we had prior to calling him— think somewhere between baby shark and t-rex. We talked on the phone with Dewayne for a consult where he thoroughly explained the training options. We proceeded with an in person eval to make sure that we were all on the same page, ensuring that Charley would respond well to his direction. We immediately knew Dewayne would be able to help and scheduled the board and train. We missed our girl but when she came home… she was a total transformation (in the best way)! He taught her structure and boundaries then taught us how to continue and build upon this newly learned solid foundation she learned while training with him. We’re now confident taking her just about anywhere or having anyone over to our home, knowing she’ll listen and behave. We attend pack walks as much as we can and appreciate the continued training and new knowledge learned each time. We can’t thank Dewayne enough and would recommend him every single time!

If you have a Belgian Malinois, or really any other type of dog breed to be honest, this guy is for you. He guides you through to have an obedient, well mannered dog that listens understands your commands. He gives you the right tools to succeed. I also really admire his commitment to these dogs, if you have any issues after the program, he’s there to help no questions asked. Awesome dude, and he knows dog psychology very well. I highly recommend him
