Diamonds In the Ruff

Great for basic obedience training. Highly recommend for your new little puppy! If by chance you now have an adolescent dog (6 months or older) that you’ve recently adopted. I would only recommend you take your dog to Diamonds in the Ruff if you want to pay $300 to teach them to lay down. That is literally the only thing we walked away with (and by walk I mean pulled down the street by my leash reactive dog that the trainers had zero clue how to train). I left that class feeling like I had a dog that could not be trained. And I know many people in my class did too. Some may have even rehomed them, like I seriously contemplated. I am SO THANKFUL I found another trainer!! I have a dog who not only walks well on a leash, she is mindful, patient, OBEDIENT, and incredibly smart! A joy to live with. Due to REAL training! Do not walk- RUN from Diamonds in the Ruff. I still have survival guilt after finding a great dog trainer and wishing I could contact all the peers in my class that were seriously struggling with their dogs behavior issues. I wish I could call each of them up and tell them all the life changing training advice I’ve received after finding a competent dog trainer. The trainer at Diamonds in the Ruff literally said she throws a piece of steak to her dog, who aggressively resource guards, in order to walk past the dog. Life is way too short to own a miserable dog because of poor training. Find someone else!!
