We adopted a very "spirited" 1-year-old Golden Retreiver and at times he seemed "impossible" to control. ...we realized that may have contributed to his being placed for adoption! Now, after Training, he can be taken on a walk in the woods 'off leash' and we still maintain control. He will come when called and even alerts us when someone is coming the other direction. "Dog training" seems as much about "owner training" and Claire Digman did great at both!
