Dingo Doggies Campus

I adopted a puppy from a rescue organization and he is quite the mix - equal parts German shepherd, Doberman, Australian shepherd, and Australian cattle dog. I wanted to start my puppy Bruce Wayne off on the right foot and there is really no better place in LA to do that than Dingo. My dog was at Dingo for about 8 months until he was a little over 14 months old and he is such a well-adjusted dog due in large part to this place. The staff and Renee helped us build a wonderful foundation where my dog feels secure and fulfilled. Renee was so committed to getting us off on the right foot. She let me know early on when there were behavioral issues she saw in my puppy and gave me direction on what to do with him at home. I know that all the Dingo trainers care so much about the dogs and everyone there puts the dogs first. It was a relief knowing that I would drop him off and he wouldn’t pick up any bad habits or come back smelling like dog pee (as happens at most daycares). Instead, the staff helped ensure he learned how to be around other dogs without reacting, practiced “place,” worked on leash training, and so much more. I will say that the cost of sending a dog to Dingo is very expensive. I could not keep my dog there long-term though I wish I could, but the time he spent there was worth it to me. We will miss everyone at Dingo! But we leave the Dingo pack in a great place with lessons we will carry through the rest of my dog’s life. If you can afford it and live in the area, you won’t find a better place to care for your dog.

Dingo Doggies is unlike any other boarding and training facility in LA. Renée has truly created a one of a kind space that is structured, safe, and reliable. I have been taking my dog to Dingo Doggies for over four years now and it is truly one of the best finds! I just wish I would have found her sooner. Renee is so knowledgeable and has really helped my dog and me come a long way. We are always learning and improving under her tutelage. She has the dogs’ best interest always in mind. The staff is also caring, well trained, and very experienced. Renée has put a lot of time into every aspect of Dingo Doggies. Thank you for creating such an amazing dog training, daycare, and boarding facility. I don’t know what I would have done without you!

There are not enough words to express how much Renee and her team - Ana, Kennedi, Ish, Jesse, Wren - helped my dog Abe to be less anxious, walk without pulling, and generally ease into life in Los Angeles. You guys are the best, and Abe is truly a better dog, because of DDC. Thank you. No, DDC's day care is not traditional - there are few other day cares that will put your pups on treadmills, or have such strict drop off and pick up times - and you're going to feel queasy when you look at the pricing. But if your dog is struggling with leash pulling and general stress and anxiety like Abe was, and you can afford to do DDC, I would suggest that you trust the process, trust Renee, and trust that every day when you drop off your pup and pick them up, they will have spent the day being fulfilled with exercise, healthy play, and proper rest in the cleanest facility I've ever been in. Renee runs the place like the army. You can also be sure that if your pup is ever sick, they will always proactively take the appropriate course of action. One day last fall, I received a call in the middle of the day from Renee - "Don't panic!" She was at the veterinary emergency room with Abe - he had woken up from his afternoon nap, out of nowhere, with overall lethargy and vomiting, after being totally fine the whole morning. The DDC team - Kennedi specifically - had spent so much time with Abe that they immediately knew something was not right. After inspecting him, Renee took him herself to the vet ER, placed him under their care, called me and constantly communicated with me about what she was hearing from the doctors, and STAYED WITH HIM UNTIL I GOT THERE from my office which was nearly an hour away during rush hour. He ended up having pneumonia and needed X-rays, antibiotics, and some serious rest. Renee texted every day to check in until he was really truly seeming better. I genuinely believe that the whole DDC team cares as much about every dog in the DDC family as they would their own pups. We ended up doing day care, boarding, and home training with Renee, and we only introduced the e-collar about 6-8 months after he started working with DDC. The e-collar remains on a 1 or 2 intensity setting and is even more effective for him than when Abe's previous trainer had it on a 6 or 7 from the start. For me, DDC was absolutely worth it, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We’re so glad we found Renee and Dingo Doggies to help our dog Nala with severe anxiety around high-pitched sounds. Walks had become extremely difficult and stressful, and we didn’t want to rely on medication for the rest of her life. Nala started attending Dingo classes, where she receives both physical and mental exercise, learns to listen to the trainers, and practices staying calm in a structured environment. She works with different trainers each day and is exposed to different situations, which has been great for building her confidence. Additionally, we love getting a glimpse of the dogs in class through Instagram stories! We also decided to do at-home private training, which Renee taught us how to provide Nala with a safe, consistent, and structured environment to help her de-stress. Training at home was difficult at first, but we stuck with it and it was worth it. We saw noticeable changes within the first month, and now about 9 months in, Nala is more confident, less reactive, and overall much calmer and happier. We HIGHLY recommend Renee and the Dingo Doggies team for anyone with anxious or reactive dogs! Thanks for all the help!! Forever grateful.
