FirstBarkMy dogs have all loved going to Rachel for swim! Hydrotherapy helped prolong my old dogs life. My two current dogs have been going since they were 4 months and love it. Its perfect way to release energy and get exercise for them. Cooling activity in the Florida heat!.

Dip’n Dogs is located in Central Florida and was founded by Rachel Velarde. She is fully certified in Canine Hydrotherapy and completed her schooling through the Canine Fitness Institute. Dip’n Dogs provides physical water therapy to dogs with disabilities, injuries, obesity, arthritis, degenerative diseases and dogs who need pre&post surgery/rehabilitation. We also provide fitness swimming for canine athletes as well as swimming lessons for all dogs! Low impact exercise, like water therapy, is significantly proven to help your pup. From building muscle tone, loosening joints, relaxing muscles, increasing flexibility, & reducing stress, pain, & anxiety, swimming is the most recommended & valued exercise to extend the life of your dog.

Fine place but unfortunately closed in the winter due to lack of heat and temporarily closed this summer. Not accessible.
Caring staff working with your pet for various muscle or skeletal problems. Also great for puppy weight loss and learning to swim if you have a pool.
I dont understand the reviews. All I got was text message back to me that they dont take clients. My 14 year old fur baby is in much needed therapy. Sorry. I dont recommend as they will immediately turn you away.

We absolutely LOVE Dip’n Dogs! Rachel is truly incredible with my husky. He gets wildly excited the second we pull up for swim time… and then suddenly remembers he’s not 100% sure about actually getting in the pool. Rachel has been so patient, calm, and encouraging with him. She understands his personality and meets him exactly where he is each session. Because of her, he’s become noticeably more relaxed in the water and is now swimming actual laps around the pool — with a little bit of confidence and his emotional support crab close by. What makes this place even more meaningful to me is that I truly wish I had known about Rachel with my previous dog, who struggled with significant knee challenges. Seeing how beneficial and confidence-building these sessions are, I can only imagine how much it would have helped her mobility and comfort. That realization alone speaks volumes about the value of what Rachel does. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and takes pride in helping them build strength and confidence at their own pace. Watching my boy’s progress has been such a joy, and we are so grateful to have found her. If you’re considering swim sessions for your pup, I can’t recommend Dip’n Dogs (and Rachel!) enough.
